Absolutely outstanding video Pat. Very touching. The last picture was very moving in light of very personel reasons. Thanks.
It is a shame America and Germany had to fight each other.
I often wonder if we couldn’t have banded together as European brothers to wipe out the Communist Soviet Union.
What a military. Patton, Bradley and Ike with Manstein, Rommel and Jodel. What a force that would have been.
By the way posters that SS officer is Joachim Peiper. He was an outstanding officer in the Leibstandarte Adolph Hitler division.
He fought in France, Kharkov, Kursk and in Battle of the Bulge. His men were very loyal. The Malmedy incident was a low mark for his command. No doubt. But remember the brutality on the Eastern front was beyond words. He witnesses many many atrocities committed against his men. Also, the US Amry had orders to shoot EVERY memeber of the Waffen SS. No prisoners. But let’s listen to Peiper himself.
Peiper- “I recognize that after the battles of Normandy my unit was composed mainly of young, fanatical soldiers. A good deal of them had lost their parents, their sisters and brothers during the bombings. They have seen for themselves in Koln thousands of mangled corpses after a terror raid had passed. Their hatred for the enemy was such: I swear it and could not always keep it under control.”
Peiper- “My men are the products of total war, grown up in the street of scattered towns without much education. The only thing they knew was to handle weapons for the Reich. They were young people with a hot heart and the desire to win or die right or wrong-my country.”
Peiper agreed to accept full blame and be shot if his men could go free.
Lest we forget this site is dedicted to the same young men of Americas elite unit. Are they not accused of “war crimes” in Iraq? I would never presume to know what they and Peiper went thru so I am not going to judge. Nuremberg is what is haunting the Marines in Iraq. Based on the same principle. History is one big circle.
Respect to all men in uniform in WW2. Histories ultimate event.
November 9th, 2007 at 7:44 amThanks Paul
I appreciate your comment. While making the video, I came across the account and testimony concerning the Malmady incident. Very interesting reading. Seems I recall Patton advocating doing the very thing after VE day - on to Russia! Would have saved us all a lot of trouble wouldn’t it?
In this song, “Klinton Brown” was PFC Clennie E. Brown, a relative who served in Third Army. He made it up to April 12, 1945. It was artistic license that put ‘the eagle’ on his sleeve. Oh well, I’m a songwriter, not a historian.
I’m all for “let bygones be bygones”. I’m sure that one day, if I live long enough,I’ll not be mad at certain middle eastern people. All they gotta do is stop trying to butcher my kids!

Bravo James. Bravo
My two uncles were Tech Seargants in 2 different armoured divisions. I have to call my cousin to get which ones. I do know that Uncle Paul fought in Sicily, Italy France and Germany. Uncle Harry in Italy France and Germany.
They fought against the Waffen SS in the Battle of the Bulge. They respected them greatly. I have 5 German Medals incl Iron Cross and Russian front medal from Uncle Paul. I also have a Reich battle flag form the SS Leibstandarte Adolph Hitler division. My uncle Harry had a Leather Waffen SS motorcycle jacket a mint condition Lugar Bayonets armbands all sorts of stuff.
I never did get Harry’s collection. Sadly it was stolen from his home in the late 1980’s after he had died. It breaks my heart to think some jungle monkey took possesion of that collection.
My uncles were tough bastards just like these men in this video.
I used to go and hang out in the 1980’s and listen to their stories. I miss them.
My dad was Pacific Theatre Navy.
They all have past. My dad most recently end of Sept. I just came back from Arlington. My dad was laid to rest on Monday. Very emotional time for me right now.
Middle Easterners are no Germans are they? We American Europeans are a dying breed. We are brothers in my world.
I hesitate to post this info. They were FAR FAR from braggards.
November 9th, 2007 at 9:25 amI think your video is an appropiate place. Thanks
I guess this proves Dan right. Hausser has a chip on his shoulder because he was too much of a pussy to join military like everyone else in his family. Angry gay man, most likely. Angy because he knows he’ll never belong to a club he wants to, so he now hates its members.
Fuck off blowhard. Go do something for your country and then you can talk shit about it and those who do. All talk - no action: Paul Hausser.
November 9th, 2007 at 9:50 amTo your Pop
November 9th, 2007 at 9:57 amIt also appears that, while moving house, I’ve been away from Pats place for too long and maybe missed something. I dunno who’s ox is being gored. Anybody got a scorecard?
**…….silently sneaking away now..
November 9th, 2007 at 10:14 am“It breaks my heart to think some jungle monkey took possesion of that collection.”
WTF? “jungle monkey”?
November 9th, 2007 at 10:15 amYou one a them racist lefties Hoser?
The guy was identified as black
Oh sorry its PC Sully “African American”
I have dated black chicks by the way.
This is when sully says DA they were trannies. Your too predictable Sully.
November 9th, 2007 at 10:23 amSullen,
Racist lefties? Now that is oxymoronic considering the lefties were the engine of the civil rights movement. Your mind must be in a confused state most of the time.
November 9th, 2007 at 10:43 amPaul Sully has a miserable life,
he can’t stand seing his supposed ennnemies, the “lefties and the frenchs” enjoyed a joyful way of living
Why don’ we invite him in a Bahamas trip : he’ll see how the forbidden paradise coul be
November 9th, 2007 at 10:59 amFranchie
I love Women Wine Food and Song. My heart belongs to European antiquity
I was born 50 years to late.
November 9th, 2007 at 11:20 amHey Kipp, you need to lay off the crack..saying racism and the left is an oxymoron? so you think their are no racist people who consider themselves liberal? bullshit..I guarantee there are. there are racist blacks, whites, liberals, conservatives. He was saying the word Jungle monkey is a racist term and it definitely is
November 9th, 2007 at 11:21 ampaul Hausser is a pseudo
you mean you would have like to live the real life of Paul Hausser ?
November 9th, 2007 at 11:38 amFinal evidence that Kipp is just a robot: “Leftists can’t be racist”.
Final irony: He pretends to be a deep and unconstrained thinker. It ain’t so deep to understand that Leftists can be racists, nor that your best argument about Lefitists and race is half a century old.
November 9th, 2007 at 11:50 amHate to break the news, but some of the biggest phoniest racists are liberal. I once worked at a place dominated by liberals. When black inner city people would call with their problems, they’d get the fast shuffle from these same liberals. Guess who actually drove out to their homes (at distances of 2 hours away) to meet with them and assist after one of my liberal colleagues blew them off? Yeah, me.
November 9th, 2007 at 12:16 pmI find it sickening that Paul H. has to glorify the German/Nazi army every chance he gets, even when this clip was about the US soldiers. (Nice video/song.) Alot of the Germans were just boys fighting for their country, and after the war, if they survived, they went home and lived their lives. But they were serving one of the most evil men in history. There’s no glory in that, and no point discussing it. There is no equivocating American forces in Iraq with Nazi soldiers. No one wants to be associated with Nazis. Stop! P.S.: He probably uses all that paraphanalia for his weekly Neo-Nazi meetings.
November 9th, 2007 at 12:34 pm“…lefties were the engine of the civil rights movement.”
Bullshit.
November 9th, 2007 at 12:49 pmThey’ve never given a fuck about anybody but themselves.
“…Sully has a miserable life”
I DO???? Thanks for lettin me know.
November 9th, 2007 at 12:52 pmyeah, you suck old socks
November 9th, 2007 at 12:58 pmPaul, WWII was a shame but we were hardly the same. Everybody in Deutschland knew about the death camps.
It’s sacrilegious for you to compare any actions the U.S. has conducted in Iraq with those of the Reich 1936-45.
November 9th, 2007 at 1:27 pmJames
November 9th, 2007 at 1:28 pmRiveting piece! Better alert Kleenex! A couple of years ago I had the great honor and privilege of visiting The American Military Cemetery at Margraten in the south of The Netherlands close to Belgium. Your video completed my voyage and brought back the special feelings I had when I was there. It was only at the strong suggestion of a Dutch women, who offered me a lift into town after golfing. She made a special stop so I could witness these sacred grounds which made it possible for me to go! She said it was her duty to show how thankful the people of South Limburg are for the sacrifice the American people made for her relatives and friends. I strongly believe that when I hit my ball out of the sand trap of the future Baghdad Country Club I will be able to as Yogi says “experience deja vue all over again” when I visit the graves of our fallen heros of the Liberation of Iraq War! Heck I know they have a golf course Afghanistan already!
@James Hooker
Beautiful rendition and imagery. Thank you.
FYI, Mr. Hausser most often posts revisionist leftist history often blaming America for the World’s ills, both past and present. He is no friend of the patriotic warriors who post here, and is an ardent apologist for the German Nationalist Socialists of the WWII era, including the position /status of the Jewish people. I’m surprised you let him get away with his comment about the US and Nazi Germany pairing up to conquer the Soviets, an unbelievably ignorant statement which flies in the face of those Americans who you just so eloquently honored.
November 9th, 2007 at 1:33 pmThere was no moral equivalency in WWII, and there is no moral equivalency today.
Fish - thanks for the kind words. All of you!
And Fish, You’re right about me not calling him on that. When I read it, it did strike me as over the top. At the same time, his statement did remind me of Patton getting his nuts in a wringer over his saying pretty much the same thing AFTER VE Day - or have I got my history wrong? I recall the first time I heard the story, I thought if he had gone on to Moscow, it would have saved me a lot of barked shins diving under my school desk during those fucking “duck and cover” drills.
November 9th, 2007 at 2:11 pmJames -
Absolutely beautiful. In the last six years I have been blessed to have become mildly acquainted with a couple of the Band of Brothers, 101st AB, 506th Easy Company suvivors. I recognize a couple of them in your montage.
I was feeling a bit blue as we enter into the Holiday season (and winter in the NE) this year … All the overload that comes along with the hustle and hubbub … Being reminded of the real spirit of what Christmas is meant to be cannot be any more clear than to understand what these men went through, and what they helped get each other survive through that Hellish cold winter in Bastogne.
Thank you again, James. Lovely and deeply touching.
As usual, thanks, Pat, for pointing it out to us.

November 9th, 2007 at 2:23 pmKipp:
The lefties were NOT the engine of the civil rights movement. The liberals of that era were. And in 64 and 65 EVERYBODY was a lib. It was the Republicans by the way that won the day on Civil rights. Robert Byrd and the rest of the Blue Dog Dems refused to go along with LBJ’s initiatives.
Got news for you kid…even Republicans were libs in those days.
James Hooker:
And the boys in this war are the same. The chow line might look different…and the uniforms too, but a warrior is still a warrior. It still sucks to try and eat hot chow in the snow. And death is the same bitch it was in 1944.
Nice pic of Maj Winters. Another great warrior. Incidently, I lost an uncle in Europe in 1944. He was one of my inspirations to join the military. And a Silver Star winner.
There were many heroes of that war. As there are with this one. Love the Henry V quote. Indeed, …”For he today that sheds his blood with me Shall be my brother…”
The brotherhood of arms trancends time. I met guys from WWII, Korea, and VN during my many years of service. All of us were brothers. No matter what our experiences were.
It is a brotherhood that few share anymore…but its just as tight as it ever was. It is still family.
Nice job James.
November 9th, 2007 at 2:29 pmFirst off, if you are a racist you are not a liberal, you are a psudo-liberal. Period. It goes against the core philosophy of modern liberalism. That is like saying if you are for excessive government spending you can be a conservative. This is why most true conservatives don’t call Bush a conservative.
Second, Byrd was not a liberal, he was a democrat. Being a Democrat doesn’t make you a liberal. The splitting of the Democratic party beginning with Truman is what caused the South to turn red. The bigoted, segregationists turned on the Democratic party and went Republican. The roots of that fissure can be read here:
http://hnn.us/roundup/entries/17203.html
Dan,
“Got news for you kid…even Republicans were libs in those days.”
Wow, I guess the John Birch Society was a figment of my imagination. Name me a few Southern Republicans in the 60s who were liberals.
November 9th, 2007 at 3:13 pmKipp:
“First off, if you are a racist you are not a liberal, you are a psudo-liberal. Period. It goes against the core philosophy of modern liberalism. That is like saying if you are for excessive government spending you can be a conservative. This is why most true conservatives don’t call Bush a conservative.”
me: Wrong again. Modern liberalism is Chomsky’s view of the world: It is marxist-lenninist at it’s finest.
And Pres. Bush has nothing to do with the argument. Try a different strawman argument.
Liberalism is gone. Try giving a conservative speech
on a college campus. The difference between the era of liberalism that existed in the past is telling. No longer are all views accepted and discussed with equal veracity. Instead some views are OK, conservative views are drowned out. That’s Marxist.
“Second, Byrd was not a liberal, he was a democrat. Being a Democrat doesn’t make you a liberal. The splitting of the Democratic party beginning with Truman is what caused the South to turn red. The bigoted, segregationists turned on the Democratic party and went Republican. The roots of that fissure can be read here:”
Wrong again. EVERYBODY was a lib in 1964. Both parties were only divided by party affiliation and their views on race.
Those Democratic biggoted segregationists were the ones who held up the civil rights laws…one of whom was your boy Robert Byrd.
And no. In the south in the 60’s southerners belonged to the Democratic Party not the Republican party. And that fact can be traced back to Lincoln and the post-civil war years.
It was the Blue Dog Democrats minus Byrd that changed party affiliation in the 60’s.
Southern Democrats made the change to the Republican party in the late 60’s and 70’s after they concluded that the Democrats were no longer the party of Roosevelt and Kennedy.
That change had NOTHING to do with segregation or race.
It was the Republicans that carried the day not the Democratic segregationists. Try reading less Zinn and more Woods.
Get your facts straight.
Byrd was still leading the KKK at the time…and he was no modern day liberal. He was a scumbag.
Unlike the rest of the liberals at the time…many of which were like myself, leading the charge at home against Jim Crowe.
November 9th, 2007 at 3:51 pmHey Kipp stick it up your fucking ass “Racist lefties? Now that is oxymoronic considering the lefties were the engine of the civil rights movement. Your mind must be in a confused state most of the time.” It was the Republican party that pushed for civil rights and continues to push for equality.
Paul did not use unpolitically correct phrasiology, he used racist terms. I do not tolerate that kind of speach in my house, and I think the only two people that are more conservative than me here are Dan and Bash.
The asshole that took your uncles stuff may have been black.
You are part of the fucking problem that separates this nation into groups, outside of good guys and assholes!
And James stay away from Paul his is one of the class dunces!!!
November 9th, 2007 at 4:31 pm@ Paul Hauser,
Huh? WTF? Oh, never mind!
@ James Hooker,
Great vid man, nicely done!
@ Dan(TheInfidel),
Nice commentary, point by point you set the record straight; I agree 100% and History agrees with you as well!
CHEERS Y’all!
November 9th, 2007 at 4:55 pmJames by the way I loved the vid!!!
November 9th, 2007 at 4:59 pmDan,
You are the most ill informed person I have ever had the displeasure to read. You know very little about history. The segregationists you speak of drifted from the Democratic party beginning with Harry Truman and especially after the Civil Rights Act of 1964. Those racists found a home in the nearly colorless Republican party. Why do you think the Democratic Party has a Black, a Latino and a women in the race for President? Because they can actually win in the Democratic party. When is the last time a minority has run for President in the Republican party that had a legitimate chance to win? Uh….never. Hell in the 80s the Democratic ticket had a women on it. The Republican party still struggles with issues over race for political expediency. For example, why don’t you think the Republicans have given Washington, DC full representation? Answer that one for me. Conservatives talk a good game but they never deliver. I would never support Byrd and those other yahoos. They are not liberals. I am a liberal before I am a Democrat. If the Republicans had the same view they would have never voted for W, and a whack job like Pat Robertson would never endorse a social liberal like Rudy 9-11. All I know is most racists I have known would never vote democratic. When the Republican party can get a Black candidate who competes for President, we’ll talk about Republicans supporting racial justice. I’m sure you believe MLK was a conservative Republican, huh?
November 9th, 2007 at 7:55 pmPaul
“Nuremberg is what is haunting the Marines in Iraq. Based on the same principle”
That is NOT an intelligent analogy. You have waxed poetic fantasy on both accounts and have come to the illusion of a resemblance.
That confusion ais derivative of a liberal F*king puke perspective, which I’m sure your better than.
also..I would hope your not using the patriotism of your dad and uncles to help posture your opinion to seem neutrally based.
November 9th, 2007 at 9:41 pmWhy do you think the Democratic Party has a Black, a Latino and a women in the race for President?
Because you’re idiots? Obama is Black? Maybe the pigment is,Besides his name is Hussein.Richardson?, a fine Hispanic name.? LMAO
Hillery a woman? She’s a screaming banshee, and a tyrant.Half the country can’t stand her. Would you fools please tell us why anyone should vote for either of these non-qualified candidates other than the color of their skin or gender?. Just tell us just one piece of legislation either of these socialists have accomplished. What are either of these fools going to do about the out of control illegal immigrant problem? They can’t even answer a simple question without coming off as complete morons. With over 80% of the American public shouting for the government to enforce our immigration laws and secure our boarder, this is the issue that will sink the democrats.
FYI The Bush administration has more minorities than any other administration in history. It makes the Clinton administration look like a KKK rally.
“MLK was a conservative Republican, huh?”
Well compared to what the democratic party has turned into, he was a hell of a lot more conservative than liberal.MLK was a uniter, not a divider. He believed in equal treatment under the Constitution. Not special treatment. So keep talking trash, you come off as the racist.
November 10th, 2007 at 6:32 amKipp:
You are worthless, ignorant, propagandizing shit. George Bush has appointed more minorities to his cabinet than any lib/Dem ever has. Liberals’ most notable contribution to race in modern politics is to defacto call each one Bush has appointed a dumb slavish nigger or spic.
Go fuck your worthless, unpatriotic, never served your country self.
November 10th, 2007 at 6:37 amHAPPY MARINE CORPS BIRTHDAY TO ALL!!!!
Except Paul, Kipp, and franchie!
November 10th, 2007 at 7:11 amKipp:
No Kipp, you’re the most ill-informed person here. Unlike you kid, I was an eyewitness to the civil rights movement in the 60’s. All you can do is read about it. I lived through it. That makes me an expert on the subject.
You on the other hand are just another dumbass brain-washed progressive. Get your head out of your ass.
November 10th, 2007 at 7:19 amDean Wormer:
Great comments. You’re 100% right on. Kipp is a waste of life. Kipp is proof positive that our school systems are an abject failure. When an individual can longer reason out a solution without any facts…that individual is a useless member of society. He could never get a job in my company. He’s too fucking stupid.
November 10th, 2007 at 7:27 amHetting back to the topic, this weekend is not only the birthday of the USMC, but also Veterans day. We celebrate our beloved Marine Corps and the memory and sacrifice of all who served. Freedom isn’t free and without the sacrifices of these fine people, this country would not exist.
The brotherhood of arms remains an exclusive club. Born in sacrifice and tried in blood and adversity, the clarion call to serve, continues to go out..and be answered by yet another great generation of people.
I tip my glass to all who have gone before us that have made and kept this nation free…to those who have given the ultimate sacrifice and to those who continue to serve.
I think Chesty would approve.
November 10th, 2007 at 7:58 amWell guys, if you look up the term “dumbass” you’ll likely find my picture, cause I just remembered I can change the screen shot for my video. So, goodby Herr Krautage. It bothered me when Google chose the Butcher of Malmady. Google tells me it can take up to 6 hours for it to take effect.
And,thanks again for the kind words. I’m putting the final touches on another Christmas song (no video though) that I wrote quite a few years ago. It’s a bit on the ‘bawdy’ side, but, hey! - lots of people get lots of different things for Christmas; The guy in this song just knows what he REALLY wants - and he tells his girl all about it! It’s called “Same Old Christmas”. I’ll have it ready in a couple of days!
November 10th, 2007 at 8:03 amMr. Hooker,
Don’t be so hard on yourself…your patriotism has never been in question, or your historic perspective. It is the comments of others that have been challenged. You do outstanding work, your heart is in the right place, and I think I can speak for us all when I say we look forward to your future compositions. God bless you, Sir, and thank you again!
November 10th, 2007 at 9:23 amKipp, I’m an evil conservative repubilcan ex- marine, living next door to a conservative black/hispanic democrat that can’t figure out what the fuck is wrong with you liberal ass-holes.Liberal programs like The Great Society,The War on Proverty and No Child Left behind have not worked and will not work. You ass-holes ruined Black America, by wellfare programs and isolating men from their families by simply handing them a welfare check.
November 10th, 2007 at 11:20 amI question your ability to think without the liberal mantra.
Screw Paul too, Nazi lover, My Dad and Uncle fought those fuckers, My other uncle survived the Bataan Death March, luckily he was a dentist and poisoned the camp commander at the end of the war.
Fish, that’s not what bothered me. Ise can takes de heet! What bothered me from the get-go was my Veterans Day post being heralded by a fucking SS guy.
I know and knew LOTS of Vets who respected and, yes, admired, to an certain extent, the average German conscript who was, in many ways, just some dumb bastard who’d rather be banging Helga behind the beergarten. But as for the SS?…..there was no mercy. They hated the sons-of bitches without exception. Scum then, scum now, scum forever.
And as of this writing, I look back up top, and “He Who Swallows Adolph” is still there. C’mon Google!
November 10th, 2007 at 11:23 am…AND, I forgot to add, I’ve known Veterans who hate ‘em to this very day, regardless of the branch the german or japanese was from. I will not fault them for thinking that way, for fire can do many and wonderous things to the metal of a man.
They were there. When we needed them. Thanks guys AND dolls.
November 10th, 2007 at 11:31 amdave–I have to salute your uncle in the Philippines–excellent. I salute all Veterans on this Veterans Day.
November 10th, 2007 at 12:43 pmJames,
November 10th, 2007 at 1:29 pmUnderstood.
re:Google…they probably are leaving the pic intentionally, bastards.
Mr. Hooker,
That was a wonderful tribute. My husband served with 101st for 5 years, 2 of that with the Rakkasans. We were there when Band of Brothers premiered at Fort Campbell and I was fortunate enough to meet Maj. Winters and other honorable veterans at then COL Frank Wiercinski’s house. But, because of my historical ignorance, for which I will never forgive myself, I had no idea what a group of living legends I was in the midst of. They were all so remarkably humble and kind.
I now have a 7 year old son who can recite Eisenhower’s Letter to the Allied Troops word for word. It is through him and his own band of brothers that I hope the lessons of history and the sacrifices of great men before them, and generations yet to come, are never lost. Thank you for the video, and yet another reason to remember how thankful we all should be at this time of year for all we’ve been given, by the grace of God and the sacrifice of our soldiers.
November 10th, 2007 at 3:40 pmExcellent video
Thank you for the work
November 11th, 2007 at 3:29 pmHoooray YouTube! Took you fucking long enough.
November 11th, 2007 at 4:15 pmJames,
I’ve read all of the comments above and will stay out of the fray, since pretty much all has been said.
Ask me and some of the others that post here if they’re willing to forgive/forget the VC and NVA of the Viet Nam era. I don’t think so. Hell, I’ll never forgive the low-life’s treatment of me and others in uniform during that time period.
As for your video….excellent job, great song and a worthy tribute to what really was, “The Greatest Generation.”
I will post your video on my blog, if you don’t mind.
November 11th, 2007 at 5:54 pmKipp,
Nice try at utter bullshit! You claim republicans are racists without citing the actual ideological differences currently between the partys. Socialism and state endorsed co-dependency vs Individual responsibly and real liberty. Democrats like to tell minorities that all their problems are not solvable by themselves and the need the government to feed and protect them. Here’s a little fact for you. Nazi’s were Socialists. Nazi’s had the master race. Power in collectivism where the lone individual is worthless compared to the needs of the master race, state, or the collective population as a whole. Hmm, weren’t most K.K.K members all Democrats. Democrats are Socialists now despite what they were 50 years ago. Socialists are the most racist types I know because the teach others to use race as a crutch. Conservatives prefer to teach the man to be individually responsible and prefer to follow the constitution and the Bill of Rights. You know, the documents the was supposed to limit government and protect the individual against the masses.
November 11th, 2007 at 9:53 pmMike
….”and will stay out of the fray”
That’s why these guys served, fought, and so many died and are still serving, fighting and dieing. But, you know that. I know that. But many people - too many people, enjoy the fruits of their pains, and couldn’t give half a rats ass how they got these freedoms such as clicking and expounding wisdoms here at Pats Place.
As for me, I’m mightly ashamed of far, far too big a portion of my generation, the children of “The Greatest.”
The generation that serves now? A huge chunk of this present batch of ‘kids’ deserve a “________Generation” after their mention. I wonder what it should be?
And again, speaking for myself, I didn’t serve. There is NOTHING I regret more.
November 11th, 2007 at 11:56 pmKipp, after reading through these 50 plus responses, some of them very eloquently stated, it really boils down to a fact I’ve posted on Pat’s site before - If you’re not liberal when you’re very young, it’s because you have no heart. But, if you’re not conservative by the time you’re thirty, it’s because you have no brain.
November 15th, 2007 at 8:29 pmRichard,
Thank you for that Churchill quote but if you aren’t still liberal after thirty you lost your heart.
November 16th, 2007 at 8:19 amI tried liberalism once. I caught “sixtyitus”. What can I say…blowjobs from flowergirls 24/7! Didn’t even have to beg!
Then I got innoculated with Reaganacillin. The frequency of the BJ’s slacked off a little, but I was saved from a long, lingering death of dumbfuckitus.
November 16th, 2007 at 9:05 amKipp: Thanks for reminding who originated the quote, but are you saying that conservatives have no heart? My heart is the same one I’ve always had. Adolescent liberalism should be fully tempered from experience, etc. by the age of thirty. Many individuals who lack these life experiences end up teaching at a liberal arts college (a jab at my sister ) or a contributing member of the greater welfare state. Most fail to realize that problems cannot be solved just by throwing money at them, that people are actually resonsible for their actions, they should support themselves, that life is not always fair and cannot be legislated so, that you earn respect, it can’t be given, etc. The list could go on and on……..
November 16th, 2007 at 5:01 pm
