Video: Hollywood Refuses To Make Pro-Troop Films
Anybody ever heard of Frank Capra or John Ford?

Be respectful of others and their opinions. Inflammatory remarks and inane leftist drivel will be deleted. It ain’t about free speech, remember you’re in a private domain. My website, my prerogative.

You see, as much as I would love to see Marcus Luttrell’s “Lone Survivor” , I fear Hollywood getting their grimy, filthy, bloody hands on it.
I would, however, trust Pat Dollard, and his judgement on who he would trust with Luttrell’s story.
I also believe it is damn time “those” in Hollywood who do not like how Hollywood is being viewed by this country, and who WANT to tell other stories than what is trying to be shoved down the public’s throat should stand the hell up and start making some big damn noise … It’s your industry too, damn it!!
November 12th, 2007 at 1:02 pmThese anti-American movies don’t sell because the majority of us are smarter than leftists think we are. Of all the stories that can be told about this war, all the idiots in Hollywood can focus on are the negatives. I can’t even tell you the last movie I paid to see, other than through my cable provider. Hollywood is an embarrassment to the USA.
November 12th, 2007 at 1:05 pmHollywood is a left-wing pustule. If Bruce Willis can’t get a pro-American film off the ground, I say we MOAB that whorehouse.
November 12th, 2007 at 1:28 pmI want Lone Survivor and Heart of a Soldier as movies NOW!!!I will not see movies that make soldiers look bad.
November 12th, 2007 at 3:09 pmHey all I hear ya!!
Go to boycottredacted.com and sign the petition, and look for a theater in your area to go and physically show Hollywood and the American troops exactly how you feel!!!
I will be in Chicago!!
November 12th, 2007 at 3:27 pmHollywird can kiss my ass. I don’t buy their shit anyways….unless they produce something worth watching like “The Great Raid” or “We Were Soldiers” or “Hamburger Hill”. Otherwise I’ll stay with TCM or AMC. AMC is running “The Great Raid” as we speak. Great movie.
Incidently, I hear the writers strike is the funniest joke
November 12th, 2007 at 3:42 pmon late night TV at the moment. Like, who cares…
As good a place to drop this:

November 12th, 2007 at 3:56 pmWhat these hacks have not figured out is…Their only participation is that of a critic. They have a tainted perception that reads like a road map for everything they try to express. Everybody knows their antiquated over used view but them, apparently
November 12th, 2007 at 4:03 pmYa know guys, why are we letting Hollywood dictate what kind o f movies that are being made. The studios are just production lending institutions, i.e. Banks for funding the movie (yes I know they have other functions as well, but they are primarily the money guys), so why don’t conservatives try to bankroll people like Bruce Willis when he wants to make a pro US movie? Mel Gibson was able to do it with The Passion, so why not pass around the collection plate and get this movie made? Anyone else want to help. Hell if it can work for Young Americans why not push it forward. I’d donate. I love Bruce Willis movies.
November 12th, 2007 at 4:08 pm…yeah my favorite war flick was “1942″
November 12th, 2007 at 5:00 pmI don’t understand why DePalma chose to highlight the actions of a few soldiers when there are literally thousands that deal with the same garbage day in and day out and are incredibly humane in the way they act. There are bad people in all walks of life. We hear about it on the news every night. This type of movie serves only one purpose, which is to make America and our military look evil.
November 12th, 2007 at 5:28 pmHollywood = tumor in the asshole of America.
November 12th, 2007 at 5:58 pmAs much as I agree with the message, you can’t say FOX isn’t biased.
November 12th, 2007 at 7:03 pmPeople don’t want to go see a film that bashes America–it’s depressing. If they want to hear that, they can turn on the nightly news and save $10 or whatever it costs these days. There are alot of great stories that don’t get put on film in Hollywood. Don’t know why.
November 12th, 2007 at 8:32 pm“, you can’t say FOX isn’t biasedd”
The battle cry that Fox is biased means nothing to me…I don’t watch much tv for news, except the weather channel.
… &%^$&$ dumb people, think if you don’t have a liberal view means you watch Fox. For whatever thats supposed to convey…stupid F*ckers must listen to Bathtub boy and his constant jealous rantings about Fox
November 13th, 2007 at 12:00 am“…you can’t say FOX isn’t biased.”
As they themselves say, biased toward America.
The ‘left’ in this country has become anti-American to the extreme. I don’t watch TV much anymore and certainly not for the ‘news’, but when I do I don’t find them to be biased to Party or Personality. At least not in the same way as CNN, CBS, ABC, etc..
November 13th, 2007 at 6:41 amRead that NYT article on Belleau Wood and you’ll see what I mean. The 1918 NYT was biased toward America. The NYT today is anti-American. There is nothing America could do, short of suicide, that would satisfy them.
(That is, unless Hollywood and Europe tells them it’s OK to be pro-American again.)
Terry Tate, exactly. Let’s get some decent non-left/treason media going here to start balancing out their bull. I’m IN!!
