All the does is solidify support for her most loyal of fans, while simultaneously driving away any chance of "conversion" from the "other side" and causing moderate conservatives to lose heart, and not bother to defend their position. This accomplishes nothing, encourages nothing positive, and lays the foundation for civil war. And don't you laugh, look at Yugoslavia.
