I love Rush, but he seems to be getting a little big for his britches. I hope he doesn’t try to assist the GOP frontrunner when he’s nominated, because he can sometimes stick his foot in his mouth. Like, I think he helped get dem Sen. McKaskill elected in MO when he made fun of Michael Fox’s Parkinson’s disease. I think Billary’s biggest fear is that American “swing voters” are going to find out what she really thinks. Rush’s audience is already not voting for her.

Lamplighter, old sod, Rush did not make fun of MJF’s Parkinsons. I was listening to the show that day and in no way did he make fun of him. The media tried to make it seema as if he “stuck his foot in his mouth” but they failed at that because the truth was on the Limbaugh web site for all to see. They took a clip from the “DittoCam” and looped it to make it look like Rush was goofing on the way Fox looked when he spoke. The larger point he was making, as was Coulter with the Jersey Girls, is that democRats use “victims” to push their propaganda, thinking that the “victims” are immune from any criticism. Limbaugh didn’t help McCaskill get elected, the liars in the MSM did that by misreporting the actual context of Rush’s comments.

Also, Rush’s audience is not made up solely of conservatives. Plus, he is able to boil down issues so that his listeners can repudiate the inanities they hear from liberal quacks. So his reach goes far beyond his audience.

Jar, I listen to Rush just about every day, and heard him that day. I winced. I thought he was being a bit cruel re: M. Fox, and people don’t like cruel. You’re right–his reach goes beyond his audience. Of course, he was right about his larger point, that dems love to use “victims” to make their point. And dems want to turn everyone into a victim, so the govamint can help them.

    lamplighter,

Why did you cringe? because you believe that anyone who is sick, dying, very old, very young , or a minority must be treated with kid gloves when debating politics? I hope not, we need to stop being swayed by political correctness. the reason rush is popular is because this country is revolting against the same old MSM. same reason Fox is so popular.
