I also think now is the time for people who are sick of Hollywood’s war-time tactics to protest the strikers. Come out one and all and tell the writers in placards and signs how you feel about their post-9/11 antics.
November 19th, 2007 at 9:27 pmMore evidence of the ‘tyranny of groupthink’ being waged by the left in this country.
November 20th, 2007 at 5:30 amYeah, free speech… as long as that speech is only from the left.
I recently squashed the hell out of a few Ron Paulites for attempting to shut me up.

That sounds like a great idea … However, those of us in fly-over country don’t have access to the stikers. So, I guess we’ve been protesting with our dollars.
I have said here before, while I know these “conservative” Hollywood actors, producers, directors, writers are fearful of their livelihoods being taken away, I think, as you mentioned, the way for them to go is to group together their numbers … and then begin to make their voices known and heard … citing how they have been living under the fear of being “black-balled” in 21st. Century Hollywood.
I believe the people of this country, who really do enjoy and crave entertainment, would stand behind them and support them completely.
I was actually stunned by Kevin Costner’s blasting of the 2006 movie DEATH OF A PRESIDENT, and gained a new respect for an actor who I had thought was cut from the liberal cloth.
“It’s awfully hard if you’re his children, his wife, his mother, his dad; there’s a certain thing we can’t lose as human beings, which is empathy for maybe the hardest job in the world. Whether we think it’s being performed right or not we can’t, like, wish … or think that’s even cute.” - Kevin Costner

Who would have thought it would be the conservatives in Hollywood who would be `thinking outside the box’ in the 21st Century?
November 20th, 2007 at 6:32 amI’ll picket those writers. Sign me up!
November 20th, 2007 at 10:34 amI’m hesitant to claim that the problem is the Writers in general; but instead the Hollywood Elitists that refuse to hire Writers with Conservative values… Face it people that aren’t writing what the Top Dogs in the industry want, will not get the job or in the case of News Agencies, their stories will not be published due to the agendas of the Management/Editors… I say “Fuck Hollywood” all together and start advancing this/our/new Media Revolution forward! What happened to John Wayne and Ronald Reagan Films anyways? And what has been the hold up in bringing back the Heart of the Silver Screen? Is it that the Lefts Lunacy has kept us on the defensive through the last 7 years? As I see it we began with a Victory (Bushes Election), then we had National Unity (after 9/11), during that time Conservatives forgot about the war at home (on Hollywood), Sadly this was an opportunity that was wasted; From there the Left began it’s campaign of tearing down every bit of Patriotic unity that our Nation had after 9/11 (the first time we stood as One Nation since Korea); What went wrong? I believe it was that Conservatives ended up on the Defensive by forgetting the Lefts agenda and going on the Offensive too late! If this Country doesn’t gain control of this shit we (the Silent Majority) are the only ones to blame! Maybe the reason that the writers are under paid is because it’s easy to write leftist swill! So, if you’re out picketing those picketers ask them their political views and if they have the Cajones, Hearts and Brains to stand up permanently against Hollywood bring them on board; lest they forget who tossed them overboard in the first place!
