I was driving through columbus ohio last summer, (coincidently it was heading home after meeting my son while home on leave in MI) when some hippies in a little car started harassing me on the road. I did have a troops ribbon and flag sticker on my truck, not like her van but evident of my viewpoint. I did work them over to the gravel and off the road. I should have done more but too many eyes.
My son was accused of killing babies by some punk in a walmart next to Fort Campbell days after his return from Iraq this August, now mind you he was wearing a jihadkiller t-shirt. Not a big incident, the punk took off when he squared up on him.
If they want to bring it, fine, this is not the sixties.
It is time to choose a side.

November 20th, 2007 at 9:21 pmDon’t know about you guys but I’ve tried really hard to tolerate the BDS baloney, the anti-military, anti-American crap for about six years now. Don’t like it but I tolerate it peacefully - that is what the left tells me to do.
But I think these fascists rushing the stage, the punks vandalizing military cars, and these freaks destroying others property including military offices, have pushed me to the point of wanting to crack some skulls.
If they want a fight with something besides words, let’s give them one.

The military should be considered a protected minority. No longer should people be allowed to slander this group of men and women. I believe that there is some law somewhere that makes intimidation, harassment, or violence based on race, religion, ethnicity or CREED, against the law. I guarantee you that if this woman had gay pride statements all over her van, this incident would be investigated and the perpetrators would be punished and the story would be all over the front pages.

I have been with him in his uniform in public and have had people come up to him and thank him for his service in person. He has had drinks bought for him and such. It makes it easy to see what side someone is on.

My wife and I try to buy our military folks and their families dinner when we see them out. Seems a pretty small gesture considering the sacrifices you guys are making.
Oh, and don’t worry about them messing with your sons. These creeps are cowards unless their driving the opposite way. They’re real tough keying cars and flipping the bird while driving down the highway. They wouldn’t dare challenge your sons in a restaurant.
