This is a new feature. It’s going to suck - in technical ways, and hell, well, maybe others. I am not a good writer, not especially disciplined ( in general actually), and have a million different jobs to do, people to argue with, bribe and manipulate - and just don’t have the time and patience for formal blogging per se - the kind where you proof-read, checking for spelling, grammar, cogency, proper paragraph breaks, appropriate titles, etc., so what I’m going to do is just throw down whatever thoughts and musings come to mind, whatever unfolding tales of my life, uh, unfold, and just throw things out in a random sort of - to borrow a hackneyed phrase - stream of consciousness. It’ll also allow me to quickly toss out a living diary of my often bizarre and definitely tumultuous, conflict-riven life.
The day’s entries will begin at the top. I’ll try to put a timestamp next to each one. Once the day’s over, the slate will be clean for the next one’s. I can embed videos as well.
Thanks.

AGAIN: PROPER SPELLING, GRAMMAR, ALL THAT KIND OF STUFF DOES NOT APPLY HERE:

Don’t know how much posting I’m going to get done today, as in a few hours I’m heading out to one of the biggest gun shows in the country. ( Bash will be handling most of the regular posts - I need people to snitch on him if he takes too long between posts ) I have high hopes for coming back with a flame thrower. Flamethrowers are legal, not regulated: they are not firearms, cos they just shoot fire.
I’m also in the market for a lot of other things. I’ll post photos of the purchases.
8:17 An ex-high school girlfrend has shown back up via emial over the last two days - kinda like groupie commniques. Was definitely hot as fuck, smart as fuck, and funny as fuck. Now a nurse, with some CRAZY recent history. Will definitely be funny to see where and if that goes. Her character is likely to end up in the Fox biopic. Remember the teen couple in “Traffic”. That was us.
Also today, got invited to Adam Sandler’s office Christmas party of all things. The place is a secret conservative bastion. Will report on anything interesting from there.
In what may or may not be shaping up as a creative showdown, an episode of the series is showing up this morning by Fed-Ex about a very gruesome suicide bombing in Ramadi. It’ll be episode three of the 8 episode YA series. ( post-production guys add edits and stuff after I do the original cut of the episode ) I’ve been having battles with certain of the Scott’s team in the creative process ( more on that later ), and if they fuck up my cut of this episode and are can’t get their shit together in the ways I need them to get the whole thing done right, I may have to move on. Good news is I’ve got lots of other people lined up, and any blowups with my current creative partners will only mean the series gets out faster, since Showtime is keen on having it out in April. Enough people piss me off and you’ll be able to see it a lot quicker. Hang in for the update. I’m still dealing with people who call Marines “Soldiers”.
Hah! Fox is just reporting that thousands of those enlightened followers of the prophet have just shown up on courtroom steps in Sudan to demand, DEMAND! the execution of that British chick who let her Muslim students name the class bear Mohmmad. Remember that point: it wasn’t even she who named the damned bear, it was the kids. People scoff at the “low” numbers of Violent Lunatic Muslims, but the truth is, no one has any real idea just how much damage these ever growing numbers are poised to cause on this planet…..out for now.

Later on, today or tomorrow, I’m going to post Tony Scott’s people’s suggested “Young Americans” logo, so y’all can tell me if it sucks or not.
7:41 P.M.
Just got back from the gunshow,so I’m entirely out of the loop on all of the day’s shenanigan’s, horrors, public cries for help from the wretched, everything. Heard something about Hillary and a bomb. Hope Bash and Ian and Iggy kept you up on the news.
I passed on the flamethrower - didn’t want to part with 13 grand. Got a full kit Romanian AK - with bayonet of course, a stunning Springfield Tactical Operator, night sights built in, slide on top, custom grip, .45 cal, - it’s the shit. I took a chance on a High Standard concealable Officer’s Model compact Crusader. Anyone particularly hate High Standards? Love ‘em let me know. Right now the rest of my collection includes two Glock 21’s, a concealable Springfield .45, two more ak’s, a binelli, a mossberg, and FAL. For me, it’s .762 and .45 all the way, no reason not to have the stopping power. Gotta get a .22 soon enough though, just for burning up ammo out in the desert cheapley.
Big drama unfolding on the YA front. Updates on that soon, I’m fried for right now. More soon….
Ah! …. No flamethrower, huh?
Well, all the better. I thought we’d be wondering about you and that new toy and any future “wild fires” breaking out becuase you’d be having too much fun with the damn thing … and 13 grand! Cripes!

November 30th, 2007 at 9:24 pmI’ve got all the toys a gun loving American can have living in California. Thank God I purchased them all pre ‘99. Love burning up the desert too. Hope you had fun at the show.
Best pistol that I ever shot was a match quality .22 by Ruger. Best civilian rifle: .243. I really like the M-14 match rifle…and for some decent “plinking” I’m still an
M-16 officionado.
Alhough, I hunt with a Mauser, I’m still fond of the .243.
I’ve fired so many military and civilian weapons, that is hard to pick just one.
Best military weapons: Maybe the 81mm mortar or the .203.
Love the sights on the 203. I could put a greande in a fucking window. The M-110 was a trip. Charge 7 white bag/424 round? Can I get a Tim Allen grunt?
Walking through my neighborhood gun store drives me crazy, because there are so many fine pieces, but I can’t buy them all.
Sounds like someone is having fun this Christmas.
One last thought? Have you tried BBQ pulled venison yet? Mighty tasty stuff.
“For me, it’s .762 and .45 all the way, no reason not to have the stopping power. Gotta get a .22 soon enough though, just for burning up ammo out in the desert cheapley.”
Fuckin a right.
Got a Ruger Alaskan myself. 454 for pure fun and 45 Long Colt for plinking.
Hoping to get an M1 Garand some day, but my dream gun would have to be a BAR.
Big bore all the way!
Oh yeah, did you happen to see the .577 T-Rex rifle?
