Diala, Nov 27, (VOI) – Six people, including three policemen, were killed and seven others wounded when a suicide bomber wearing an explosive belt attacked the Diala police command HQ in central Baaquba on Tuesday, police said.
“A bomber with an explosive belt strapped around his waist blew himself up at the entrance of the Diala police command HQ in central Baaquba, killing six and injuring seven others,” Maj. General Abdul-Kareem al-Rubaie, the Diala Operations chief, told the independent news agency Voices of Iraq (VOI).
Three of the deaths were women while three of the wounded were policemen, he added.
