CAIR Tells Giuliani To Dump Pat Robertson - With Video
CAIR’S Press Release:
CAIR RELEASE: CAIR Urges Giuliani to Reject Anti-Islam Televangelist’s Endorsement
WASHINGTON, Nov. 7 /PRNewswire-USNewswire/ — A prominent national Islamic civil rights and advocacy group today urged GOP presidential candidate Rudy Giuliani to reconsider his acceptance of the endorsement of a controversial televangelist known for scathing attacks on Muslims and Islam.
In a news release on his campaign website, Giuliani is quoted as saying he is “encouraged” by the endorsement of Pat Robertson, chairman of the Christian Broadcasting Network (CBN). “His experience and advice will be a great asset to me and my campaign,” said Giuliani.
In 2002, President Bush repudiated rhetorical attacks on Islam by evangelical leaders. Media reports at the time said the president’s remarks were prompted by attacks on Islam, particularly those of Pat Robertson, who said that Muslims are “worse than the Nazis.” Bush said: “Some of the comments that have been uttered about Islam do not reflect the sentiments of my government or the sentiments of most Americans.”
Then Secretary of State Colin Powell echoed the president’s remarks when he told a State Department audience, “This kind of hatred must be rejected.” The director of the American Jewish Committee called Robertson’s “Nazi” comment “outrageous.”
On his “700 Club” program, Robertson has repeatedly defamed Islam and Muslims. He called Muslims “satanic,” claimed the Quran, Islam’s revealed text, is “fraudulent” and said Islam is “a monumental scam.” Robertson also called the Prophet Muhammad “an absolute wild-eyed fanatic, a robber and a brigand…a killer” and said the goal of Islam is “world domination.”
He called Islam the “religion of the slavers,” claimed Americans who convert to Islam exhibit “insanity” and said he would be wary of appointing Muslims to positions in the U.S. government, including judgeships.
In announcing his endorsement of Giuliani, Robertson referred to the “bloodlust of Islamic terrorists.”
“It is truly disturbing that a presidential candidate of any party would accept the endorsement and seek the advice of a person with such a clear record of anti-Muslim bigotry,” said CAIR National Legislative Director Corey Saylor.
CAIR, America’s largest Islamic civil liberties group, has 33 offices and chapters nationwide and in Canada. Its mission is to enhance the understanding of Islam, encourage dialogue, protect civil liberties, empower American Muslims, and build coalitions that promote justice and mutual understanding.
Giuliani And Robertson Make Announcement Together:
While I do not like pat robertson, I am not sure I like CAIR that much more. Giuliani can figure out who he likes on his own.
November 8th, 2007 at 3:12 amWhen the Christian message is rejected, shake the dust off your feet, When the message of Islam is rejected, behead them. I really don’t see much difference in this.
November 8th, 2007 at 3:18 am“CAIR, America’s largest Islamic civil liberties group, has 33 offices and chapters nationwide and in Canada. Its mission is to enhance the understanding of Islam, encourage dialogue, protect civil liberties, empower American Muslims, and build coalitions that promote justice and mutual understanding.”
Bull-motha-fuckin’-shit!
2002 was five years ago, times do change; we used to think this way; oh, lets try to understand them. Why? I think they are more level-headed in places like the mid-east than they are running around in the west, taking advantage of pussy assed westerners who are more afraid of being perceived as racist than they are of accepting the fact that THEY, the CAIR-tyoes, are the motherfucking racists!
Fuck CAIR and fuck the pussies who won’t stand up.
November 8th, 2007 at 3:21 amCAIR’s annoying.
November 8th, 2007 at 3:47 amThe best way to annoy Ibrahim Hooper is to always refer to him by his birth name—Doug Hooper.
November 8th, 2007 at 5:04 am“It is truly disturbing that a presidential candidate of any party would accept the endorsement and seek the advice of a person with such a clear record of anti-Muslim bigotry,”
It is truly disturbing that an anti-semitic, anti-Christian, fascist, HAMAS supporting organization like CAIR (an unindicted co-conspirtor in the Holy Land Foundation trial) and its lap dog Ibrahim ‘Doug’ Hooper would be given a platform by the U.S. mainstream media to voice racist hate speech.
November 8th, 2007 at 5:07 amToday, estimates for the numbers of Muslims living in the United States vary widely because the U.S. Census does not track religion. The estimates range from 2.35 million to 7 million Muslims. According to the CAIR Poll: 55% of Muslims feel that War on Terror is War on Islam… (So, to be on the safe side I’ll use the 7 million estimate) 7 Million x .55 = 3.85 Million Bullets needed! At approximately 25 cents each, that comes to less than a one year lease on a double office suite at the WTC! Seems a bargain to me!
But to be honest I think that the vast majority of Muslims in this country are happy to be here… I don’t buy CAIR’s numbers and would venture that they got them from the same place that the NYTimes gets their facts and figures; Straight out of their a$$…
As to what CAIR is even thinking by requesting Robertsons endorsement be dropped by Giuliani, I have no idea; But I do know that it is a clear sign of CAIR’s lack of the ability to grasp the concept of diplomacy, and that’s the very thing (the lack of compromise) which makes Islamists a danger to free societies and to themselves…
The Robertson endorsement of Giuliani is probably the most interesting twist in the political campaign arena since only God knows when (unless Gods called Pat Robertson again recently)… and since apparently anything has become possible now, It almost makes me wonder if Kucinich really did see a U.F.O.?
It’s already shaping up to be an eventful ‘08 election season indeed!
November 8th, 2007 at 5:20 am“to voice racist hate speech.”
I like that… from you
November 8th, 2007 at 5:26 am“scathing attacks”, act like a civilized human being their won’t be scathing attacks. So, Doug’s a Doug, since when is white on white being a racist?
Pat Robertson, isn’t it interesting he said on his show that the CIA should take out Chavez. He had to apologize. What, was that about four years ago? Gee, if we’d have only listened.
November 8th, 2007 at 5:39 am“Muslims feel that War on Terror is War on Islam”….
Well if the shoe fits……….
November 8th, 2007 at 5:46 amGee, I’d sure hate to have a President that had a hostile relationship with CAIR, and that CAIR was afraid of.
November 8th, 2007 at 5:51 amCAIR shouldnt even be tolerated in this country in my opinion. Just another muslim group saying do as we say or else. although they may not behead anyone they surely will take other actions.
November 8th, 2007 at 6:04 amAs for Pat Robertson, I really dont have a problem with him. He has said a few wacky things but at least he loves this country and his intentions are usually good
I once saw a cartoon in that notorious lefty newspaper
The Guardian, a london rag that hates all things American,
it had Bush standing over a sign that said GWOT (global war on terror) and Bush crossed out the T and changed it to I.
For once, I thought the guardian got it spot on, correct as they
could possibly be, not that I salue the indefatagability of leftists
(unlike Galloway to saddam), rather that by accident they nailed it.
GWOI = Global War on Infidels
That’s what we’ve been fighting since Clinton’s days. That’s what
we are fighting now. And if you even dare reveal the true intent
of the religion of islam, their followers feign to go nuts.
That is called taqiyya, (divinely approved deception).
Let them call off their stupid, insane, war. Let them accept that
the whole world will not worship their god or their prophet.
Then the war will be over - just like that. There is absolutely no
chance that they will agree to that.
Are we locked into a fight to the death with Hinduism, Rastafarians,
or any other religion?
No.
The taqiyya doesn’t work anymore. Your prophet didn’t appreciate
the internet.
Choose Victory.
November 8th, 2007 at 6:06 amThis is rich.
Everywhere Islam goes, death and pestilence follows.
Yet it is WE who need to be more “understanding” of Islam.
Most Americans (the exception being liberals) already understand what Islam really is.
So, to sum up my message to cair and the liberals,
November 8th, 2007 at 6:19 amFUCK YOU!!! :evli:
Anyone who has followed the Holy Land Foundation trials is well aware of what CAIR’s agenda is. Ibrahim Hooper is a lying tool of HAMAS. If he doesn’t like Guliani, there must be a reason. Maybe because Guliani is willing to confront CAIR and the rest of his takfir irhabi buddies in the GWOT.
As to Pat Robertson…I don’t like him. His endorsement means nothing. The only endorsement that counts will be the American people’s endorsement in Nov 2008.
November 8th, 2007 at 6:23 amWe’re talking about the same “Rudy Giuliani” that, as NYC Mayor, refused a $10 million aid check from the Saudi prince …
So, he’s gonna give a flying leap about what an organization who, on different levels, supports terrorism against this country is going to say?
I would expect Rudy will give CAIR the same response he gave to the Saudi prince … “Fuck off …”
November 8th, 2007 at 6:26 amYet another reason to enthusiastically support Guiliani for president! If CAIR, and as previously reported hezbolah FEAR Rudy as president we should elect him with a landslide! Rudy is the kind of leader who makes a list, checks it twice, destroys the naughty( terrorists, criminals) and protects the nice(law abiding)!
November 8th, 2007 at 6:58 amIf CAIR is upset because Robertson endorses Giuliani, then obviously it’s a good thing. Screw Doug Hooper and CAIR! They are part of the ideological and political arms of Islame, who seek only to destroy our Constitution in favor of Shari’a law.
November 8th, 2007 at 7:42 amBTW, does anyone know of a satirical Mohammed smilie that is available, so I could use an image of the false prophet on everything I post?
Politicians don’t care who endorses them as long as they send the money along with it. It’s all about the money, folks.
November 8th, 2007 at 7:59 amNow as far as CAIR saying anything at all in this country about anything political, I say to them, put up a candidate and let’s hear the bullshit CAIR calls dogma. Then let’s see the Jihad put upon them by the people of this country who appreciate the rule of law and the Bill of Rights.
Dave M thought you were a moonbat sneaking in for a second, but like your GWOI!
November 8th, 2007 at 8:39 amI may not post it behind my name like Dan(the infidel) or Kurt, but I am one too!
Maybe IA should stand for something other than Iraqi Army. How about Infidels Anonymous………
Hi my name is Howie and I’m an Infidel.
Hi Howie!
Well ….. He might have a point ????
November 8th, 2007 at 8:41 amI’m no fan of Robertson ,,his endorsement doesnt mean diddly
to me ,, Let America decide ,, Oh, and isnt CAIR basically a front for TerroristIslamofacistJihadis who want to take down this country and make us all conform or die ???
“I like that… from you”
Wow… still more moral equivalency from the morally bereft socialist left.
November 8th, 2007 at 9:05 amWhoda thunk it.
Still havin trouble with reason and logic because it requires you to discriminate between right and wrong and that’s just too much work for a socialist frog with no work ethic eh franchie?
Senior CAIR employee Randall Todd Royer, a/k/a “Ismail” Royer, pled guilty and was sentenced to twenty years in prison for participating in a network of militant jihadists centered in Northern Virginia. He admitted to aiding and abetting three persons who sought training in a terrorist camp in Pakistan for the purpose of waging jihad against American troops in Afghanistan.
Royer’s illegal actions occurred while he was employed with CAIR
CAIR’s Director of Community Relations, Bassem Khafagi , was arrested by the United States due to his ties with a
terror-financing front group. Khafagi pled guilty to charges of visa and bank fraud, and agreed to be deported to Egypt. Khafagi’s illegal actions occurred while he was employed by CAIR.
On December 18, 2002, Ghassan Elashi, founding board member of CAIR-Texas, a founder of the Holy Land Foundation, and a brother-in-law of Musa Abu Marzook , was arrested by the United States and charged with, among other things, making false statements on export declarations, dealing in the property of a designated terrorist organization, conspiracy and money laundering. Ghassan Elashi committed his crimes while working at CAIR, and was found Guilty.
CAIR Board Member Imam Siraj Wahaj, an un-indicted co-conspirator in the first World Trade Center bombing,
has called for replacing the American government with an Islamic caliphate, and warned that America will crumble
unless it accepts Islam.
Rabih Haddad served as a CAIR Fundraiser. Haddad was co-founder of the Global Relief Foundation (“GRF”).
GRF was designated by the US Treasury Department for financing the Al Qaida and other terrorist organizations
and its assets were frozen by the US Government on December 14, 2001.
Consistent with Hamas ideology, CAIR has served as a conduit for the distribution of materials and funds from foreign nationals
November 8th, 2007 at 9:21 amto groups and institutions within the United States for the purpose of promoting radical Islam and Hamas ideology,
and attacked Islamic clerics and scholars who reject radical Islam and the Hamas agenda.
CAIR’s lineage goes back to a key Hamas leader (Musa Abu Marzook), and that CAIR has long been connected with, and “exploited” the 9/11 attacks to raise money for the Holy Land Foundation, a Hamas front group.
· CAIR is heavily supported, financially and otherwise, by suspect Saudi and UAE-based individuals and groups.
· CAIR states that the U.S. judicial system has been “kidnapped by Israeli interests,” and claims that anti-terror law enforcement action against the Holy Land Foundation was “an anti-Muslim witch hunt” promoted by “the pro-Israel lobby in America.”
November 8th, 2007 at 9:25 amhttp://www.anti-cair-net.org/
We are a group of concerned Americans dedicated to eliminating the Islamist terrorist threat to the United States Constitution.
November 8th, 2007 at 9:27 amyes, I agree, from your place, we stand just in your left glass ; turn the other way round, then you get California ; does that work too ?
It appears that your “ethic” is indigeste, not enough elaborated, or if you prefer, just plain rough commendement without form
November 8th, 2007 at 9:30 amWhat the heck is a terrorist sponsor organization doing thinking they can enter the US Pres. debate? Why does MSNBC give them a platform? In case CAIR doesn’t get the message, it’s a free country and Robertson can endorse whomever he wants and Guiliani doesn’t have to do anything about it. Outrageous.
November 8th, 2007 at 9:34 amADVISORY:
November 8th, 2007 at 9:49 amSubscribers are warned that the Council on American Islamic Relations (CAIR) may contact your employer if CAIR believes you are using a work address to receive any material that CAIR believes may be offensive. CAIR has been known to shame employers into firing employees CAIR finds disagreeable. For that reason, we strongly suggest that corporate e-mail users NOT use a corporate e-mail account/address when communicating with ACAIR or CAIR. We make every reasonable effort to protect our mailing list, but we cannot guarantee confidentiality. ACAIR does not share, loan, sell, rent or otherwise publicize our mailing list.
“….or if you prefer, just plain rough commendement without form”
Nonsense. Here’s some “rough commendement” WITH form…. STFU.
November 8th, 2007 at 10:27 amK?
I don’t personally care much for Pat Robertson and it is a joke he’s dragged out as a spiritual leader of the Evangelical community. He’s a religious fixture of the MSM who provides enough necessary talking points to get us labeled as loons. His political influence is minimal.
But I do have to give the man credit concerning international affairs. Robertson warned America about radical Islam long before it was cool to do so. And he will be proven right about Hugo Chavez too before all is said and done.
November 8th, 2007 at 10:32 am“….. a network of militant jihadists centered in Northern Virginia.”
Oh no!!! Not amidst the Kommisars of Political Correctness of the People’s Republic of North Virginia who’s only krime would be that they toil with hammer and sickle for the Common Good !!!
November 8th, 2007 at 10:43 am“Coprolalia is involuntary swearing or the involuntary utterance of obscene words or socially inappropriate and derogatory remarks. The term is often used as a clinomorphism, with ‘compulsive profanity’ inaccurately referred to as being Tourette syndrome”
“Echolalia is the repetition of vocalizations made by another person. Echolalia is present in autism, Tourette syndrome, developmental disability, schizophrenia and, occasionally, other forms of psychopathology. When done involuntarily, it is considered a tic.
“Palilalia is the repetition or echoing of one’s own spoken words,[1] and may sound like stuttering. It is a complex tic, like echolalia and coprolalia.[2] All can be symptoms of Tourette syndrome,[3] Asperger syndrome,[4] or autism.[5]”

November 8th, 2007 at 1:27 pm“Hey Franchie. You busy Saturday night?”
Now THERE’S a match made in hell.
November 8th, 2007 at 1:35 pmPot-au-feu, you’ll be the dragon, I guess
November 8th, 2007 at 1:45 pmPaul Hausser,
the Açores are the real half way ; so for Saturday night it’s too short, because I prefer to travel with a sailing ship.
I need, to be large, a month to get there, (15 days to get to Canarian islands, a few days there to restaure the ship and make some provisions ; then back into the Atlantic, Alisees, sometimes no wind, a sudden storm…) then why not for Christmas ?
November 8th, 2007 at 2:18 pm“…then back into the Atlantic, Alisees, sometimes no wind, a sudden storm…) then why not for Christmas ?”
hurry along… all of us here will miss you but we wouldn’t want you to miss hurricane season.
November 8th, 2007 at 2:35 pmSully, you may not know (what a supposition)
that the Hurrican saison is generally over from November to March
That is why that most of the sailing ships move to the Caraïbs for Christmas ; lot of Frenchs who can afford it spend their Christmas holidays there
and skippers are hired for making the ships cross the Atlantic
I am sure you’ll miss me : none to make you discharge your aggressivity
but, too bad, That was only a mind evasion,
just to recall the good old times
November 8th, 2007 at 3:37 pmCAIR has more blood on it’s hands than any other group in the United States. Their time will come, they will be exposed and will be run out of this country - if the feds don’t, we will.
Off Topic:
Goodbye Natalie,
It’s good to see you here. You are being missed on the other homefront. Truly missed by some of us. Be well and I’ll look forward to seeing your insights here at Pat’s place. (Ornery Elephant)

Oh…he’ll be in drag-on allright.
November 8th, 2007 at 8:00 pmJust be sure to double up on protection…that shitpole’s been with chef Puke, said so himself
“Sully, you may not know (what a supposition)”
Yes indeed but I’m used to that from you.
You suppose all kinds of not true things like:
“that the Hurrican saison is generally over from November to March”
“Hurrican saison” ends November 30 franchie.
November 8th, 2007 at 8:17 pmI was trying to be helpful and again I implore you to move up your journey so as not to miss the potential adventure.
“This kind of hatred must be rejected”
I agree, but this kind of hatred, or far worse is said by muslims of Jews, americans , infidels , kuffirs etc which inludes every non muslim on the planet. In the name of promoting tolerance and respect for a religion that defends the rights of racist muslims around the world to refer to the rest of us as swine, dogs and on the level of feces, as ali sistani in iraq(a moderate muslim) has promoted, or encourages the complete dissection of the bible as lies while not allowing even simple criticism of the koran, these arrogant pricks shouldnt be given the time of day.
after everything that they say robertson said about the religion of peace alls I could say was , Amen!
the truth certainly hurts, doug er. ibrahim!
November 8th, 2007 at 9:39 pmpolitical fish
even so, he is a gentleman (and I am born from last night)
Sully, when I said “november” it was large, I know that hurricans might come even in december ;
and you should take some courses on “communication”, because you always give the impression that you talk as the “first of the class”, so hardly nothing is valuable in your transmission ; only disdain ; if you want that people empathies with your “knoledge”, try to put yourself in their position, it’s the B A ba for exchanging informations
November 9th, 2007 at 1:46 amA prominent national Islamic civil rights and advocacy group ….
Ehh, not so much. At one time, CAIR had a significant number of members, but there have been news reports that show that the weirder they got, the lower their membership fell.
http://www.washingtontimes.com/apps/pbcs.dll/article?AID=/20070612/NATION/106120013
Ordinary Muslims in the US do not support CAIR. The money is not coming from them.
November 9th, 2007 at 4:18 amFranchie.
Don’t mind Sulky not knowing the hurricane season. After all he does live on Mars. He is a Martian
November 9th, 2007 at 5:53 amOh quit whining franchie. I know it must be difficult for you to take responsibility for your own ignorance. It is not my fault that the obvious replies to your moronic postings make you feel bad or mad and don’t require a visit to Wikipedia for “information”.
November 9th, 2007 at 6:08 amPersonal responsibility never seemed to be a feature of french society (I think even Sarkozy brought that up) and I have not felt much for the french but disdain for quite some time. I am glad to see that Sarkozy may have put you and your countrymen on notice by bringing to light the lack of a work ethic, etc.; it seems you are the type of individual that motivates his thought in that regard.
Paul Hoser,
November 9th, 2007 at 6:27 amAs franchie admits herself it was she that was wrong re “hurrican saison”.
And yes, according to a popular missive, MEN are from Mars. Where might that put your own place of origin?
Now please return to your masturbation over your new french girlfriend.
Paul, sully is from Uranus, that’s why he is “mad” ! I shall not curb in front of an uranus ass
that bad influence of your planet makes you state bias and distord others talks for your own avantage ; you don’t even are aware of it, as your lost in your self-contemplation ; but it is childish, you can’t cheat people though;
I didn’t admit I was wrong about the hurricans, just add a precision ( )
and as far as Wikipedia, I did use it once here about “philistins”, (and yourself recognized it was Ok), so your jumping on quick conclusions, as in every of your stments though, no reflexion
we just like to F U, your such a good subject.
and I”hate” the auto-proclamed genius, specially when they are “teachers”
don’t tell me that Kant is your fellow, but just your inside-head and rethoric US philosophs, about meanings of their own blabla, that other nations don’t care, a fortiori the persons
November 9th, 2007 at 6:49 amOh come now franchie. We agreed more than a month ago that it was you that was from Uranus because you’re always talking out of it. Don’t “distord” for your own advantage.
And you have posted wikipedia info here much more than just once. It’s OK though since it is clearly the only time you take to gain something that might remotely be considered ‘knowledge’. Must be that ‘hating teachers’ thing you’re dealing with….
As for the balance of your post and its ramblings about Kant and “a fortiori” arguments, it is you who is unaware of your own incompetence.
Here is good scientific “informations” that you might find helpful if you can find your way through it:

November 9th, 2007 at 7:28 amSully, you can’t even have your own refelexion, always dealing with what the “others” said ; your so confident with your “knowledge” that has absorbed all your energy that there isn’t any more place for the “reality”
wake up before it’s too late, or you will stay as we say un vieux “con”
dommage, you can be “funny” sometimes
November 9th, 2007 at 7:46 amJust because Robertson’s a turd in all other ways doesn’t make him wrong on this score.
Stopped clocks and all that.

Concluding remarks
“In sum, we present this article as an exploration into why people tend to hold overly optimistic and miscalibrated views about themselves. We propose that those with limited knowledge in a domain suffer of a dual burden : Not only do they reach mistaken conclusions and make regrettable errors, but their incompetence robs them of the ability to realize it”. what about your incompetence to understand another logic but yours ?
“Althouth we fell we have done a competent job in making a strong case for this analysis, studying it empirically and drawing out relevant implication, our thesis leaves us with one haunting worry that we cannot vanquish. That worry is that this article may contain faulty logic, methodological errors, or poor communication. Let us assure our readers that to the extent this article is imperfect, it is not a sin we have commited knowingly.”
