AFP:

Iran has agreed to a new round of talks with the United States on Iraq after Washington made an offer via the Swiss embassy in Tehran, Foreign Minister Manouchehr Mottaki said on Tuesday.

“The Swiss embassy in Iran passed on the message of the US government for a new round of talks on Iraq to my colleagues in the foreign ministry,” Mottaki told reporters.

“Iran has agreed with this request within the framework of its policy of helping the Iraqi poeple. The exact date of the fourth round of the talks will be announced in the near future,” he said.

Iran and the United States have already held three rounds of talks over Iraq this year. But they failed to achieve a major breakthrough and did not stray into other contentious issues between the arch foes, namely Tehran’s controversial nuclear programme.

Dare I ask? What in fucks-sake do we need Iran for?

Im my view, and many others its a done deal and the war is 90% won. Do they want to see how we did it and try to change the course again? Need to know where the weaknesses are so they can shuffle more arms to AQI & Iranian Revolutionary Guard in country?

    Piss up a rope.

(sorry for telling you all exactly how I feel)

Iran agreeing to talks means they only need a small amount more time
and therefore they’re willing to even be nice to the infidels.
If you read debka today, their intelligence experts think Iran has
many more than the 3000 centrifuges they admit to Al-Baradei,
as well as a secret plutonium producing reactor, and bottom line
is Iran will be able to construct a bomb by early Spring, next year.
