Good work, Iggy. Thank you for the info. Stay safe.
November 4th, 2007 at 8:39 pm“Years from now, when the world looks back on Iraq, historians and academics will rely heavily on the first-person accounts of events on the ground.
It’s hard to explain the shock I got when I finally got into Iraq. Unlike what I had read in the newspapers, I didn’t find demoralized troops complaining about a dangerous quagmire in Iraq, and believe me, I asked.
I found men and women who complained because they weren’t allowed to leave the safety of big bases and meet Iraqis. I met Iraqis who trusted American troops more than they trusted their countrymen. I met Iraqi policemen who were risking their lives to fight religious fanatics.”
- Matt Sanchez
The US military has won this war. And that fact is getting almost no play in the leftist press. Instead of Murtha and Hairy Weed doing any real research on the subject they take the view that seems to have come from some propagandist VN movie from 30 years ago.
WTF is their problem? Why isn’t victory good for America…I mean all of America? And why aren’t these victories celebrated in print and on TV as they should?
Does the whore of liberty(the press) and the Democrat leaders in Congress really against victory? Are they that anti-American?
Yep. I think they are.
Good points. Good vid.
Good vid Igg.
November 4th, 2007 at 8:55 pmIf I may: the extreme left hates war, any war, any military. Because peace and love are always the answer, and it is never OK to commit violence. Philosophically, they are pacifists and do not accept the world the way it is, but imagine it the way they want it to be, and then pretend it’s that way. That’s why they are surprised by events all the time. So, that’s why they are surprised the surge has worked, and so want to sweep it under the carpet. It doesn’t fit their paradigm/their template. See, I understand them. I just don’t agree with them.
November 4th, 2007 at 9:35 pmLoved the closing comment.
“So, I’m sorry harry reid, the war is not lost your war might be lost, but our is not”
November 4th, 2007 at 9:55 pmThe magnitude of this war will have substantially contributed to the financial win fall for tourism 10 to 15 years from now
November 4th, 2007 at 11:28 pmThe libs can whine till the cows come home, but one thing about Bush is true, that can not be taken away: that despite the adversity, casualty rates and leftist press, Bush stayed the course. Thats leadership!
November 5th, 2007 at 12:44 amIggy Great Vid!
However:
Sir this L/Cpl needs to correct the Capt. Sir!!
It was the dishonorable Senator John Kerry that made the comment about terrorizing women and children in the night, Sir. Osama Obama, as Ted Kennedy has called him in the past, said that we needed more troops on the ground so we could stop air raiding villages and killing innocents, Sir.
This L/Cpl will now thrash himself for correcting the Capt.
November 5th, 2007 at 7:45 amHowie,

November 5th, 2007 at 8:54 pmWhen I was a college kid, during the Vietnam war, we did not have an internet. All we knew was what the mainstream media told us–or decided to tell us. Nobody could take a video camera and record what was going on, then post it on a medium that all the world could look at.
Today, I’m a member of Gathering of Eagles. I got to this website via a link there. We see a lot of videos like this and it is important that you keep doing this. Otherwise, our national policy will be determined by the suits who run the networks, the newspapers, and the rest of the mainstream media.
November 6th, 2007 at 6:46 pmHey there Iggy, I don’t want to seem like I am putting you under the spot… but would you happen to know what’s the cause of 2007 having the most casualties for the United States occupation in Iraq. I am sure the regions are stabilized, but what would have caused this?
