2nd Annual Unforgettable Quotes From Daily Kos
Didn’t know there was a first annual one, but I like this article at Right Wing News.
My two personal favorites are:
“But do I still support the individual men and women who have given so much to serve their country? No. I think they’re a bunch of idiots. I also think they’re morally retarded. Because they sign a contract that says they will kill whoever you tell me to kill. And that is morally retarded.
Friends, the most important moral decision a man makes in the course of a day is “Who am I going to kill today?” That’s a decision you should agonize over, dream about, rehearse in your mind for hours, not just leave up to some hare-brained President you didn’t even vote for.
A man’s killing list is a very personal matter. It should be between him and those persistent voices in his head. So to sum up, I don’t like our troops, I don’t like what they’re doing, I don’t like their fat, whining families, and yet, I support them. Thank God I live in a free country. Thank You.” — AWhitneyBrown
and
“I wrote a diary a short time ago about how the Bush administration helped ruin my marriage. It wasn’t because my husband was a Bush supporter or anything…it was because of all the stresses from job loses, living without health insurance and getting sick, to my husband being forced to take a job where he wasn’t home much that helped ruin my marriage.” — angrybird
For a quick look inside the insanity that makes up the lefty lunatic fringe, see this article at Right Wing News.
If the President told me to kill “them”, I’d kill them. Guess who I’m talking about.
December 4th, 2007 at 11:32 amWhat a bunch of f****** loons. What’s really scary is not that these wackos are roaming loose around the country, but that they’re allowed to vote. Oh, and would someone remind me why I’m not supposed to question their patriotism?
December 4th, 2007 at 12:00 pmHere is one they forgot on that list. Here is the link

well sadly and well still kinda of funny, we have a ew saying around here.
“There is stupid, and there is joining the army stupid”
I mean who in their right mind would join to be exxon cannon fodder? if you wish to serve, join the coast guard, navy, air force etc.
Generals gathered in their masses Just like witches at black masses.. Evil minds that plot destruction Sorcerers of deaths construction……….

uh, on an angry bird ?
eheh, it’s a cat leasure though
December 4th, 2007 at 12:13 pmOkay - I just looked at that “delightful” list . . . Here is one of my favorites:
“I know I’m a Jewish lesbian and (Ahmadinejad would) probably have me killed. But still, the guy speaks some blunt truths about the Bush Administration that make me swoon…
Okay, I admit it. Part of it is that he just looks cuddly. Possibly cuddly enough to turn me straight. I think he kind of looks like Kermit the Frog. Sort of. With smaller eyes. But that’s not all…
Stupid bitch . . .
December 4th, 2007 at 12:30 pmI can’t believe what he said . How dare he insult our troops at least they have the nerve to stand up for what they believe in, and tries to make a difference in the world. What has he done
December 4th, 2007 at 12:46 pmMost liberals are moonbats. One of my liberal friends (who pro-gun, go figure???) really thinks that warrentless wiretapping will lead to the Bush Administration spying on innocent US citizens because of their political beliefs. For the life of me I don’t know why he thinks this, but there ya go, that’s liberals for ya.
BTW, everyone has to see the movie “The Lives of Others”. It is excellent example of totalitarian socialist government and how it abuses its power over people. Check it out.

December 4th, 2007 at 2:10 pmFirst of all, can you imagine the chaotic mess our military would find themselves in if everyone got to disagree on who they were to kill. Can you imagine what else they would disagree on if they got to choose who to shoot, push-ups? fuck it.
Second, “the most important moral decision a man makes in the course of a day is “Who am I going to kill today?”
Who else besides a liberal would actually contemplate who they were going to kill each day? Or think that this is a normal course of a day for anyone short of Ted Bundy?
Or that it is moral thought for that matter, lol.
December 4th, 2007 at 2:45 pmI bet the cup chicks are Kos subscribers. Or maybe Kos subscribers are cup chick watchers?
December 4th, 2007 at 2:47 pmFranchie, not unique to today, though it has been an underlying issue for a long time. I’ve been known to say often, “the people you run into when you don’t have a gun”. But, of course, I never have a gun.
December 4th, 2007 at 5:57 pmFriends, the most important moral decision a man makes in the course of a day is “Who am I going to kill today?”
Maybe this explains why I still feel unfulfilled. I’m not sure I have ever contemplated “who am I going to kill today?” My thoughts are never as deep; more like I wonder if I’ll get laid today?
And who knew Charlie Manson was penning for KKKos?
December 4th, 2007 at 7:11 pmJohn,
I appreciate your autenticity
December 5th, 2007 at 2:14 amJS,
Excellent points. What I find to be a huge irony is that the ones who are complaining about supposedly losing their civil rights under Bush are the ones who willingly give up their rights to live under socialism.
I just got “The Lives of Others” and hope to watch it this weekend.
An excellent book on the inevitability of Socialism devolving into fascism is F. A. Hayek’s “The Road to Serfdom.”
