Baltimore 9 Update: New Video - Kreager Still In Witness Protection

The Baltimore Sun spoke to Sarah Kreager on the phone, and she speaks out for the first time about her being beaten by 9 black youths, 6 males and 3 females (all aged 14-15) on a public transportation system bus this week in Baltimore.

The victim, Sarah Kreager, told The Sun in a phone interview Friday night that she feels race might have played a part in the attack, but she said the events spiraled out of control because the adolescents became caught up in action of their peers.
“A woman at a corner house came out and she saved my life. I think they would have killed me,” Kreager said.
In a written report, MTA police said the beating took place after one of the boys kept jumping in front of Kreager, claiming that the open seats on the bus were reserved. When Kreager finally found a seat, the teens began throwing punches at her and her boyfriend, according to the report. Police said her male companion, Troy Ennis, was also beaten, but not as severely.
A law enforcement source close to the investigation said Friday that Kreager, who is homeless, has entered the State’s Attorney’s Office’s witness assistance program because officials are concerned for her safety.
Friday night, Kreager told The Sun she does not think she did anything to antagonize the students.
“I never spit. I did not spit,” Kreager said. “I never said a racial thing.”
Kreager said she had gotten on the No. 27 bus Tuesday afternoon to go downtown to fill a prescription with her boyfriend of 10 years. She said the bus was crowded, and she found a seat in the back — but was confronted by a student telling her to move.
“When police asked me if this was a hate crime, I said I do feel it was motivated by racism, but I think it escalated more out of them trying to be cool them wanting to be in on the action,” Kreager said.

Of course I feel for the victim, there is nothing that she could have said that would justify such a beat down; nothing at all period. Unless she actively initiated physical violence against these “adolescents”, there is not and never can be any excuse for violence.
I also wonder why it is that kids are riding on a public bus to get too and from school without supervision. This may be a sign of my provincial nature but every time I rode a bus home from school it was big, yellow, and had a driver that was not about to tolerate any shit from us passengers. Not that there was not the normal “adolescent” squabbling, but we learned PFQ to moderate our behavior after being banned from the bus, and having to deal with our parents as a result.
Further I want to see pictures of her “boyfriend of 10 years”. He better be in a coma if he let a bunch of kids put the smack down on his girl. Hell if I was out with a girl friend and someone started shit, I would be the one doing the ass kicking, or I would die trying. If he ain’t beat to shit then she need to find a new boy toy, because her current model is a pussy.
To me this whole thing smacks of the 75% compliance rate that we saw from airline hostages on Black Tuesday. Innocent people sitting around doing nothing, meanwhile the lives of others and their own are on the line. Where are the cell phone pictures? Where are the 911 calls? Have we as a country been so beat into sheep by the communist/socialist double speak of political correctness, that we are unable to stand up against naked aggression; even if that means pushing four buttons on a cell phone?

The unsupervised kids on buses thing: In Baltimore, our brilliant politicians provide free bus tickets to inner city kids and force them to go to schools in other neighborhoods. I think this is a great opportunity for kids who are eager to learn and who make an effort, but in general, it doesn’t work. Now instead of just having terrible inner city schools, all the schools are terrible, and the public transportation system is terrifying when these kids are on it. I have been on the light rail when school let out with hundreds of kids crammed on fighting with 2×4’s. Its like nothing you’d believe. I’ve seen them throw things out of bus windows at pedestrians. God help the poor bus drivers.
This incident is not out of the ordinary in Baltimore, and I’d bet money that these juveniles will suffer no punishment for their crime, and that their communities are right now celebrating their “victory over the white man.” After all, they need to get their revenge for 400 years of oppression.
Obviously, if a group of whites were to attack a black woman, there would be riots in the street.

December 8th, 2007 at 5:07 amman i remember reading this case in criminal law, the teens were admittedly out gunned to put it lightly, but they did mean to rob him and he feared for his life or imminent harm to his life. Moral of the story, 1) thank god for the massive public support of Goetz, and 2) don’t try to rob people, lest you become the victim (prey is probably a better term, or hunted) yourself. Hopefully the same course of events will follow in the Horn case, if there ever is a case against him.

But when we got to the light, they just sat there rapping so I lightly tapped the horn not looking for trouble.
These punks started waving their fingers at me and wouldn’t move. I couldn’t go around them because traffic was backed up behind me. I’m in an SUV - they’re in a Volkswagon Beetle. I can’t tell you how close I was to running right over the top of them. Would have made a perfect ramp and I guarantee the world would be a better place without them. The 17-year-old, Jeremy Woods, punched D’Amico who then fell over a concrete wall. As he lay on the ground, one of the 10-year-olds — whose names are not being released — used parts of the concrete to bash D’Amico in the head, a police report shows. (D’Amico describes his attack)
D’Amico’s eye was severely damaged in the attack. Woods and the two boys were charged with felony aggravated battery and are being held without bond at a juvenile detention center in Daytona Beach, Walden said. (Watch cuffed 10-year-olds in court)
The Volusia County State Attorneys Office received paperwork on the case late Thursday and will make a decision about whether or not to pursue charges, said spokeswoman Linda Pruitt.
The three boys made their first court appearance Wednesday wearing ankle shackles and handcuffs, and white jail jumpsuits too big for the two tiny 10-year-old frames. Judge Peter Marshall assigned them public defenders.
Attacks in Florida
Violence against the homeless occurred in cities and suburbs throughout the U.S. last year but Florida led the pack with at least six such crimes in 2006. (See a map of 2006 attacks)
One of those cases has garnered international attention and is expected to go to trial this fall after a surveillance camera captured two teens beating a homeless man with bats in Fort Lauderdale, Florida, on January 12, 2006.
Prosecutors say 17-year-old skateboarder Tom Daugherty, 18-year-old Brian Hooks, a popular hockey team captain, and a third unseen teen, Billy Ammons, a high school dropout, assaulted two more homeless men that night.
One of them was 45-year-old Norris Gaynor. A witness, Anthony Clarke, told police and CNN last year that he saw the three teens approach Gaynor as he slept on a park bench. Daugherty began whacking Gaynor with a bat, Clarke said.
The Daytona Beach area was the scene of another high-profile attack in which four teenagers confessed to beating 53-year-old Michael Roberts to death in the suburb of Holly Hill in May 2005.
The teens — one as young as 14 — pummeled Roberts with sticks and logs, fracturing the homeless man’s skull and breaking his ribs.
All four pleaded guilty to second-degree murder and conspiracy to commit murder and are serving separate sentences ranging from 35 years in prison to 22 years and were sentenced to probation for life.

Let me state for the record, that I say black kids, not African American; there is no room for a hyphenated American in my mind, and I don’t care what amount of skin pigment you were born with…lets not fall into the politically correct bullsh*t that is accosting society as a whole. Not all black people come from Africa (one of my best friends is black, and he was born in Kingstown, Jamaica), and I played rugby in high school and college with a white man who was born in Zimbabwe…does that make him an African-American? Screw hyphenated American labels…no country comes before the US of mother F**kin A!

1) Holding ones own is a simple sign to ward off some elements of street crime…I work at an all black TV station in DC (and I am white as hell, in fact I am first gen American, so I am the super ETHINIC white…because everyone knows all white people world wide are the same and have the same language etc, here is a hint…my first language was NOT English, but whatever). We work in a good block / bad block area of Ward 5, and go out on shoots into all areas of the city including the “ghettos” of ward 5, 7, 8 etc. You have to show that you are not afraid of anyone, and the street thugs usually leave you alone to find some easier prey…
2) If these kids were raised as “victims” of inherit white racism, then we are f**ked. The mentality of the victim seems to be prevalent within elements of the inner city black establishment, along with the phrase “We Was Kings and Queens…” I’ve heard that numerous times even before Al Sharpton opened his big fat asinine mouth. Who is teaching this separatist dogma? Why are citizens of America associating, and in some cases bordering obsessive, with past origins instead of present troubles? I thought the Rev. Dr. Martin Luther King Jr stated that his dream was to be judged not on the color of his skin, but the content of his character…then who is teaching inner city youth to become ignorant whelps, judging on skin alone?
3) Why under any circumstances would you (as a white person) bust out and say the N-word toward any black person? That just sounds too convenient. And if she DID (which I doubt) that does NOT give you the right to go attack someone with a gang of nine people…if I was to attack everyone who has called me a racial name, while I’ve been at work, or in the field working, I would have been in at least 50-60 fights at my 5 years working in DC.
While shooting in the street I have been called, white-boy, honky, cracker, G_d damned cracker, white devil, blue eyed devil, evil white F**ker, white trash, albino S**t head, Massa’s gay bitch (which I’m not gay, but I found that insult intriguing. 4) If a knife was drawn, and it is 9 versus 2…why weren’t any of the Baltimore 9 stabbed?
I am not trying to sound insulting, but lets look at this charge rationally. If there was a knife where are the stab wounds? The defensive slash wounds? The dead wanna be thugs? Even if you are under any type of influence, a knife can make some nasty marks…
You can also put money in the bank that if a group of people (kids, adults, gangs, whatever…) attacked my women and I and I pulled a knife…you would have some dead attackers, and a few of them would undoubtedly have stab wounds…especially if I pulled first (which I would not…I’d wait for them to make the first move, while palming the weapon).

Culture trumps genetics. I tend not to befriend blacks (I’ve never heard anyone call whites European-Americans) because no matter how great a guy he is around me, and those like me, as soon as one or two other black guys show up he has to prove his ‘blackness’ by treating us like shit and fucking us over every chance he gets. When his ‘buddies’ are gone, he’ll say, “I’m just keepin’ it real, dog.” Like that somehow makes up for it. Here’s a little anecdote from a co-worker. He was working up in Harlem, and when he went back to his truck, some black guy was trying to break into it.
