    PAT / BASH:

Al-Arabiya TV Interview with Former Al-Qaeda Trainer in Iraq

    http://memri.org/bin/latestnews.cgi?ID=SD178207

The Only Problem [for the Mujahideen] in Iraq is the [U.S.] Air Force”

Interviewer: “Where would you conduct training?” Jawhar: “In forests and woods… The only thing we worried about was [the planes] above. We didn’t worry about anything but the spy planes. The thing the fighters in Iraq worried about most was these planes, because the Americans have superiority in the air only. A plane several kilometers away can see you, hear you, and photograph you. The only problem [for the mujahideen] in Iraq is the [U.S.] Air Force.”

Caption on the Live Leak site to this video states:

“My brothers went down in Kabul Afghan due to a secondary explosion(Gas main) they were directly under, burned the rotarys to a crisp, but the Apache pilots were safe at over 2,000 degrees, amazing”

Glad to heat that they were OK

    That is major-league pucker factor.

    YEAH, Bash!

Way to scare the crap out of us so early in the morning! Cripes! Sadist!

I was impressed with pilot and crew, they did a great job putting it down, and living through it. The thoughts that went through my mind were, “Can they go undiscovered or hold off the enemy long enough to be picked up.

  6. drillanwr

Yeah, typically NOT being “ground-pounders” in battle, I imagine the crew had a certain degree of “Blackhawk Down” coursing through the carotid artery pumping blood to their brains …

    Goddamn.

BTW, I just gotta say that half the commentors on Live Leak (and YouTube) need to be rounded up and dropped into Sudan or Pakistan. Preferably without a parachute.

Yea, same with every girl who has appeared on my sweet 16.
