Video: The BEST Commercial I have Seen In Years…Must Watch.
Yeah, that’s what I’m talking about.
Yeah, that’s what I’m talking about.

The saddest part of the commercial is when you realize while watching it that the majority of Americans feel this way about our troops. It is just not covered by the MSM. It is not acknowledged by the left in Congress.
It is also a stark contrast to all of the pictures we have been seeing here at dollard coming out of Berkeley.
Shame on them!
December 17th, 2007 at 3:13 pmWe need more of these.
December 17th, 2007 at 3:29 pmMy Son was coming home on leave from Iraq told me when he arrive at Dallas airport the civilians did almost the same thing this commercial did. But when he finally arrive at the Los Angeles Airport the people did their best by turning their backs away or not to make eye to eye contact or even say thank you at all. This is sooo sad and it shows me that the United States is turning into the DisUnited States of America. When you turn your back on a soldier it is almost like turning your back on America. So sad, so very very sad…..
December 17th, 2007 at 3:50 pmI love that commercial, and i know most people feel that way..for some reason there are just pockets in this country where support for the troops or for America just doesnt exist. ssgduke54, sorry your son had to arrive in the company of such people. We would have rolled out the red carpet for him in my town. small town ohio glad im in the middle of the country where patriotism still exists
December 17th, 2007 at 3:58 pmI watched it three times and I am not ashamed to say tears came. I agree I believe this is how most Americans feel however the MSM will never report this. Local stations must get in the mix of things and cover these events. I consider it an event when Troops come home. I hope everyone has a Merry Christmas!!
December 17th, 2007 at 4:26 pmI normally patronize local microbreweries but I think I’ll try something from Anhauser-Busch next time.
December 17th, 2007 at 5:01 pmWow!!! Rock on Bud . Thanks for posting Bash.
Come to think of it - It’s a damn shame this commercial is something so unique it has to be posted on a website. Far past time for the rest of corporate America to step up to the plate and make these kind of commercials SOP on TV. But all we seem to get lately is a bunch of horny old farts that can’t get the private to stand at attention anymore without some magic pill.
BTW - This isn’t the first time Bud has presented a patriotic message on TV…. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xoxxix0QQdU
December 17th, 2007 at 5:19 pmThis is such a nice ad-wish they would show more often. To ssgduke54-sorry about your son’s homecoming-I offer him my thanks.
December 17th, 2007 at 5:27 pmThat is the best, brought tears to my eyes, the way it should be,hey bash makes the berkeley pukes look like the real asshole they are
December 17th, 2007 at 5:31 pmGreat commercial….
…The Department of Labor has honored Anheuser-Busch co-founder Adolphus Busch by inducting him into the Labor Hall of Fame. Busch was recognized for dedication, integrity, foresight and success in advancing the causes of working men and women.
December 17th, 2007 at 5:32 pmThe Anheuser Busch company seems to me to have always had its metaphorical finger on the pulse of, how can i put it real america/americans,how many drink it in L.A or most of california for that matter.on a plus side i found Busch gardens in tampa much more fun than dismal, oops disney world, especially the cute blonde selling icecream, a very accommodating young lady.
December 17th, 2007 at 5:36 pmMy (doctor) sister travels quite a bit. She says every time there are returning troops on her plane(s) the plane’s Captain is informed by the flight attendants, and the Captain announces the presence of the troops on board his plane, congratulates them for a job well done, thanks them, and welcomes them home … To which the whole of the plane’s passengers applaud, cheer, and even stand.
Says it gives her absolute chills every time.
Imagine what it does for them …
P.S.
Proud I switched beers to Anheuser Busch
December 17th, 2007 at 6:07 pmThis Bud’s for you, brought a tear to my eye, God bless Anheuser Busch and their employees.
December 17th, 2007 at 6:24 pmSaw this a long time ago… Get the chills everytime.
December 17th, 2007 at 6:34 pmGreat Commercial. Brought tears to my old eyes. So different than when I came home from Vietnam.
December 17th, 2007 at 6:34 pmRHG -
Glad to see you survived an actual Hollywood party! Hope you had a blast!
Maggie
December 17th, 2007 at 6:35 pmThat’s about the only thing Anheuser-Busch has done well. Can’t stand their beer but that was a noteworthy commercial. They should have saved it for the Super Bowl.
December 17th, 2007 at 6:43 pm@SSGDUKE54 -
Many people have chosen sides, you have seen both. To those in LA, fuck ‘em and feed ‘em fish heads
December 17th, 2007 at 7:04 pmI proudly posted this on my Facebook. Glad to see all those $ I spent on Budweiser, Select, and Natural Light are being put to good use!
December 17th, 2007 at 8:00 pmYeah, there’s still some good coming out of this old town….
December 17th, 2007 at 8:05 pmMakes me proud….and BTW only AB products are served at American Legion Post #103 and I think it will stay that way. (as long as I am an officer anyway)
Bud drinkers … Look for and buy the Bud line in the aluminum bottles. My husband makes them!
December 17th, 2007 at 9:25 pmJarhead;
December 17th, 2007 at 10:03 pmThis is an oldie; it WAS the Superbowl commercial, years ago, early in OIF, and is kept around because it keeps pulling lotsa hits.
Superbowl 39, ‘05, I b’lieve.
December 17th, 2007 at 10:09 pmI got chillblains watching that commercial. Well done. I hate your beer, but your commercial is fantastic. And that is pretty much how Americans feel about their troops. I agree, fuck LA.
Merry Christmas and God Bless our troops.
December 18th, 2007 at 6:17 amAnd then on the way to their connecting flights home, they were all stripped searched by TSA employees.
December 18th, 2007 at 6:33 amThanks Bash

December 18th, 2007 at 8:32 amBring back the Bud Man and give him a set of BDUs and an M-16.
Been a long time since a commercial made me feel good.
