Its a violation of the exclusionary clause in the Bill Of Rights. Either treat all religions the same without favoritism of one over the other…or treat Islam the same way Christianity is treated. Taxpayers shouldn’t be funding Dhimi rooms on campus. Not unless they want to fill meditation rooms with Christian, and Jewish symbols.Or just make them religion-neutral.

Unfuckingbeleivable!

I am a student as well and this kind of shit would NEVER happen at my school. We have a chapel/meditation room that is non-denominational and open to all students. It is used by InterVarsity, Jewish Student Org, and Muslim Student Assosciation.

I hope students sue the shit out of Normandale. This is absolute and blatant discrimination. Is is absolutely administration’s fucking job to provide equal access to ALL students. They are outrightly pissing on federal law and caving into intimidation tactics.

What I don’t like about this is that the Muslim student have kicked everyone else out, and are maybe spreading idea that are extreme. Why not give them their own room, and let everyone else use this room? Either that, or use the room on a rotating schedule?
