Tancredo To Quit Presidential Race - Going Into The Lucrative Alpaca Business
“They remind me of camels,” he said. “And the pay is better.”
Ok, so I made up the Alpaca Biz part… I admired his stance on immigration.
DENVER - Republican Rep. Tom Tancredo, whose forceful opposition to illegal immigration vaulted him to national prominence, plans to announce he is abandoning his long-shot bid for the presidency, a person close to Tancredo said Wednesday.

After my Senators stabbed us in the back regarding the border yesterday, and now Tancredo is gone, there is not much hope left in Texas . . . You guys in other states just can not imagine how we feel down here. My husband and I are seriously thinking of moving to Oklahoma - they seem to be serious about a sovereign nation. We are lifelong Texans - we have always loved this state, but something really strange is going on and it started with President Bush leaving the border open after 9/11 . . . I know exactly how Joe Horn felt that day.
Support the troops always, but what good is anything going to do with open borders. No one will listen.

I doubt that we’ve seen the last of Tom Tancredo. His arguments for getting control of our borders resonate well in the minds of a majority of Americans. He may not get the votes for POTUS, but he may find himself in a job at some point helping to gain control of the border….
Besides, you can’t keep a good man down. They always rise again.
