Had I known he was going to be a hall-of-famer 30 years ago, I would have asked for his autograph because as a teenager Roger was pretty damned good too. I didn't know he was that good until he went to Texas. I don't know whether Clemens is lying or not but the thought occurred to me, how do we really know and what would I do if I were in his position? What if he is being lied about? Best I can tell, the charges are hearsay. But Roger, if you are guilty, do yourself a favor. Simply come out like Any Pettitte did and tell the truth. You'll be better for it and people will forgive you for being a cheat. Much better than lying about it like martymar said. I'm in agreement.
