Brokaw Finds A Way To Put Negative Spin On The Surge
Tom Brokaw, in an interview in the Huffington Post, had a lot to say on a number of things…but I won’t nauseate you with all he said. I’ll just dump this bucket of puke that spewed from the left side of his face (is there another? Oh yeah, another left) regarding the success of the Surge:
It was too late, there were a lot of officers and military analysts who said early on that we needed more troops there, the fact that the surge came so late in the process is, I think, a black mark against the war planners and against the administration, I don’t think there’s any question about that.
(HuffPo)
These media types just can’t retire, and move on to the quiet life, can they?
December 17th, 2007 at 2:40 pmWho died and made him military analyst?
Just because someone puts you in front of a camera doesn’t mean you’re suddenly an expert.
December 17th, 2007 at 2:43 pmDon’t forget about the black marks on the records of the Demorcats in Congress or the MSM for their own support of the jihadis that want nothing more than to kill everything western and especially American.
December 17th, 2007 at 3:08 pmBrokaw seems to have forgotten that he has made the millions of dollars that he has made over the course of his career because he did not live in a muslim or communist country.
I agree Brokaw. The Iraq surge should have started immediately after we ran the Iraqi army out of Kuwait. But leftist assholes like you didn’t want any part of that, did you?
December 17th, 2007 at 4:05 pmThe only surge you whining demedia pukes ever supported was the ongoing one in Bill Clintons pants.
Brokaw’s the original version of Keith “I can’t keep it up!” Olbermann: flaccid and dry.
December 17th, 2007 at 4:41 pmWhy wasn’t the entire section of that part of the interview quoted? Brokaw said that there was success in the surge. He didn’t spin the surge into a failure, he was just pointing out the facts. Yes, he left out the glaring fact that by this time many politicians were becoming wary of the war and thats the main reason for no surge early on. But he never said the surge itself was a failure.
December 17th, 2007 at 4:56 pmThese leftist media types are really going to enjoy the surge they get from satan in the afterlife…not that they have a life now.
December 17th, 2007 at 5:02 pmPhil N Blanx, Kuwait was done by a UN mandate cobbled together by 41. Now, fast forward to the present situation, we should have listened to Gen Powell. He said go in with overwhelming force as they did with the first Persian Gulf War. The Iraqi population was given the benefit of the doubt and we figured they would act like civilized human beings. They chose to not act like civilized human beings.
December 17th, 2007 at 9:34 pmBrokaw is a stupid dick. Who cares what he says. Remember that that idiot Shinseki want one hundred billion troops. Woops, the war was won with a fraction of what he claimed was necessary.
If the bombing of the Golden dome had not happened its unlikly the surge would have been needed.
