Calling all i-Warriors…
Calling all Patriots!
There has got to be a few keyboard warriors who can meet this threat head on. Where is our genius youth, our virus makers and hackers? Lets get these smart guys to spread havoc across the net. Ignorance and hatred is contagious, we must stop the spread of radical extremism. It has no part in our lives, just like we have no part in theirs. Buy your kids a computer and up there allowance every time they bring down a Jihadi website!!
Terror Conference Gets Internet Chill
RIYADH — There are now about 5,600 Web sites spreading al Qaeda’s ideology worldwide, and 900 more are appearing each year, a Saudi researcher told a national security conference yesterday.
Saudi Arabia, the world’s biggest oil exporter, has identified the Internet as a key battlefield with militants who launched a campaign to topple the U.S.-allied ruling royal family in 2003.
“Research shows there are more than 5,600 sites on the Internet promoting the ideology of al Qaeda,” Khaled al-Faram told the Information Technology and National Security conference in the Saudi capital, Riyadh.

Successful Smackdowns: When YouTube takes down a video, something like, “This video has been removed due to terms of use violation” or “Account Suspended” will come up. When that happens, we move it to our Successful Smackdown list. It helps keep morale up to knowing you’ve made a difference.
Daily Dozen: Here we post a dozen links each day; if you agree with our assessment, we’d ask you to flag them. The more people that let YouTube know they find these videos objectionable, the more likely they are to remove them. There are links where you can email us links for any new videos you find, like the ones that come up in YouTubes ‘Related Videos’ feature. If you don’t have time each day and can only stop by on weekends, there’s a link to previous Daily Dozen Lists. Note: “This video has been removed due to terms of use violation” means YouTube has recently removed that video, woo hoo! You can also email us the link (the title & author is also helpful) and we’ll add it to:

December 5th, 2007 at 8:33 pmAfter doing some research earlier this week I noticed the staggering # of Propaganda sites created daily; I still haven’t found anything on reporting specific sites (Terrorist Recruiters) to the proper authorities to investigate their origins; this is a much needed feature! If anyone has that info please let me know.
Here are some more Links to useful sites:

December 5th, 2007 at 10:37 pmI’m no good at breaking passwords or coordinating denial of service attacks… but there was one Iranian fuckbag on Youtube who was a jihadi. I and at least 100 other people (literally, someone went around all the military videos spreading the word around and I got wind of it from a Marine) got his account suspended.
I hope they did more than that… or he somehow managed to venture into Iraq and get killed.
December 6th, 2007 at 12:22 amGeez, that iron/mouse doesn’t look too ergonomic! But it apparently is wireless …
Some intel types have expressed irritation at the amateur takedowns because is spoils their info-gathering, and drives the authors further underground, like using repellant on bedbugs. You want them where you can see them and clean them out.

Good point, but I will wager that the more evil sites are aware of our internet surveillance, therefore hide their sites and encode everything - so, not in the open so much. The majority of the sites are wannabees and low level jihadis. These guys spread the message of hate and murder, and this is the message we need to stop. Young Muslim men do not need any more bad ideas. The really bad guys are not on the surface to begin with; just my take on it.

December 6th, 2007 at 5:28 amPeople need to understand that many jihadis while certainly wanting to recruit, also have a felt need to brag about themselves and these websites also help our authorities to track would be terrorrists. Be careful who you shut down, they may provide good intel!
