Eyewitnesses Inside Bhutto’s Car Say She Was Shot
The first of the images taken by an amateur at the rally at which Benazir Bhutto died, shows a young man in dark glasses who later appears to shoot at Bhutto. Close behind him, the man in the white scarf (both men circled) was, it is suggested, the suicide bomber.
The same image from further back, showing the proximity of the two men to the bullet-proof vehicle from which Bhutto was acknowledging the crowd.
The second image shows the young man in dark glasses with uplifted arm apparently holding a handgun (circled).
A wider shot of the second image shows how close the apparent gunman was to the vehicle from which Bhutto was acknowledging the crowd.
Read the account of people in the car with Bhutto:
In the first eyewitness account from inside the car, Dr Abbassi told The Sunday Telegraph: “All of a sudden there was the sound of firing. I heard the sound of a bullet.
“I saw her: she looked as though she ducked in when she heard the firing. We did not realise that she had been hit by a bullet.”
He had looked up to see Miss Bhutto sliding back through the aperture in the roof of the white Land Cruiser. Moments later, the car was rocked by a huge explosion.
There was no sound from the fallen leader.
Dr Abbassi leant forward to see what was wrong. At first glance, she appeared to have escaped injury. Then he noticed the blood. It was seeping from a deep wound on the left side of her neck.
His account is confirmed by photos that have surfaced in Pakistan showing a man in dark glasses aiming a handgun and standing only few feet from Miss Bhutto, moments before she died. His accomplice, the suspected suicide bomber, is further back amid the heaving crowds thronging around the cavalcade.
Naheeb Khan, Dr Abbassi’s wife, cradled the injured woman’s head in her lap, reaching up for her own headscarf, pulling it from her head, pressing it into the wound, trying to stem the flow. But the wound was deep and the blood seeped out, spreading down her neck and across her blue tunic.
The official Pakistani government line is that Miss Bhutto caught her head on the sunroof’s catch as she ducked inside, fracturing her skull. “Absolute facts - nothing but facts,” it said of its account. But Dr Abbassi leaves little room for doubt. There was too much blood, he said, and a gaping wound in her neck. She had been shot.

Yes, go ahead and ignore that man on the grassy knoll while you are at it.

Okay, we need a running VIDEO for this one, a picture like this just does NOT cover it.
And then, remember, we cannot believe for a moment that anybody intent on killing somebody MIGHT use more than one shooter or bomber… or, OMG, it’s a CONSPIRACY!
Just a quick question, isn’t the attack on Bhutto itself already a “conspiracy”? Or, does that only apply if we believe it was Musharraf’s little game? Cause if was plotted by anybody else, would we really be that surprised?
And I see were back to the “neck” injury, rather than the “head”. It’s all the same, right?
And while we’re here playing our little game of Bhutto Clue®… The Lusitania was purposely sank by England to get America into WWI. And 911 was an inside job. HIV/AIDS was created by the CIA. Russia is still intentionally being victimized by the West to keep America as the only SuperPower©. Not to forget, America is a ZIONIST nation controlled by Jews. Oh, and did I forget to mention, Musharraf is really gay?
We need to keep a running tally, lest we forget.
December 30th, 2007 at 6:20 pmI still don’t see what the F’ing difference is whether she was killed by the Bullet or the Bomb? Even if struck by a bullet, the head trauma could still be the likely cause of death…
I would venture that if a Bullet wound was listed as the cause of death that we would be hearing the exact same arguments based on the opposite (Having not listed the head injury as the cause of death)… I must agree with REN that it appears “The Sky is Falling!” all around Bhutto’s death and over non-issues at that…
The How is By Bullet or by Bomb? Both of which occurred simultaneously and therefore it’s a 99.999% likelihood that the attacks were launched by the same group. The important question is not How that group did it! But rather Who that group was? Considering that the Bhutto clan has more to gain from stirring up questions about her death by pointing fingers at Musharraf than Musharraf does by lying about whether it was a Bullet or Bomb, that seems to bring them further into the fold of suspects and push Musharraf farther out in my opinion…
I still believe that Al-Qaeda is suspect #1 and I believe the reports of their taking credit for this assassination to be true (they had the most to gain) which is what we are seeing now… Next would be the Bhutto successors, who I think are not only Sissies in their family, but too brain dead to pull off this job successfully… and finally there is Musharraf who stands to gain nothing from this besides having to deal with thousands of incompetent citizens? I’m sticking with A-Q as the Perp!

What’s the difference? Well, it creates more ratings, sells more advertising, and creates an opportunity to eventually go after Bush. Instead of focusing on the ramifications of her murder they will create controversy over the method of her death.
December 31st, 2007 at 12:59 amI’ve never seen Al-Qaeda take credit for something they did not do. They took credit for this. They did it.
REN: I lost count a long time ago.
