A imageboard I visit had one of these once. I personally liked this one.
All in good fun of course, as in every Hajji there is an American dying to get out.

December 19th, 2007 at 11:31 pmAs a long time fan of Pat’s site, I feel a bit like an apostate writing this, but somehow this photo strikes me as the kind of thing Brian DePalma had in mind when he made his shitbag movie. If this Arab is an insurgent, then he deserves this treatment (and a bullet). If, on the other hand, he is one of the Iraqis we are trying to “liberate,” then exactly what is this soldier trying to demonstrate?
And what, my friends, do you think will happen if/when the MSM gets hold of this photo and parades it around as “proof” of what our brave men and women in uniform are doing in Iraq?
December 20th, 2007 at 5:23 amThe flip side reads in Arabic - The sheeple in America fuck you while you’re dodging al qaeda mortar rounds over here.
December 20th, 2007 at 6:09 amThis is disgusting.
December 20th, 2007 at 6:25 amIf I were his CO, I would rain hell down. This is no way win hearts and minds over there.
This is in bad taste and I ask whoever the moderator is to remove it.
This makes our soldiers look immature, unprofessional, and will only be used for worse things by knuckle heads out in cali-fornia for their protest bullshit.
We’re not over there to kill people and break things anymore. We are their to help build a country and a government. Shit like this doesn’t help.
I see the “funny side” of this, a different time/place, but not a good move with the MSM lurking about. IMO—-
December 20th, 2007 at 7:26 am“FLASH:…….Human Genome project locates long lost missing branch of Clinton family tree in Middle East…Film @ 11….”
But in all honesty, if Haji’s a good guy, a diservice was just done.
December 20th, 2007 at 8:11 amI felt a tad awkward writing my first post, but in light of the posts that followed, I am heartened that people here can see the negative potential this photo has.
Bash, please. Get rid of this picture. Do you really believe that most of our men and women in uniform would appreciate it appearing on a blog that has historically championed both them and their/our cause?
December 20th, 2007 at 8:15 amAlright. Here are the captions you are inviting!
“Exactly what I tried to illustrate!” –Brian DePalma
“More proof that our SOB soldiers are embarrassing our nation at the cost of the taxpayer!” –Nancy Pelosi
“What more can you expect from an American in uniform?” –John Murtha
“This is why we don’t let soldiers parade in our city.” –Mayor of San Francisco
“Typical infidel behavior in a foreign country.” –CAIR
“And you people wondered why we have opposed our military?!” –Code Pink
“I am ashamed that my son ever wore a uniform.” –Cindy Sheehan
GET RID OF THIS PHOTO!
December 20th, 2007 at 8:22 am@Kevin M
You are a great American.
December 20th, 2007 at 8:31 amKind words, Jack, but we both know the only truly great Americans are the ones wearing uniforms and are dodging bullets on our behalf.
Sorry for the rant above, but I can just smell the backlash that is coming. We all know that right-wing sites like Pat’s are constantly monitored by lefties to find new ways to fuel their cause. No offense to Bash (love the guy) but my flesh is creeping while I wait to see this goddamned photo smeared all over the net by people who have no love for the great Americans I alluded to.
December 20th, 2007 at 8:36 amThis photo has made it’s tour all over the internet. No reason to get upset about it. Although if I were you Bash, I would have atleast cleaned up the sign before posting it. I mean, with the turnaround of the Iraqi’s nowadays, shit like this is frowned upon. Now supposedly the flame retardant poop suits started mainstream service in ‘04 or ‘05. So probably this picture is ‘04-’06. I mean guys honestly, If shit hadn’t turned around the way it did, would we be badmouthing the picture? The turnaround from the Iraqi’s is a great thing, and I hope that it continues. Not everyone has soldier humour of course and you have to atleast be a little bit politically correct.
December 20th, 2007 at 8:39 amIf any of that made any sense then good, if it didn’t….dude I’ve been up 94 hours now. Give me a break.

This photo shows the low integrity of many people. Please take it down.
December 20th, 2007 at 8:50 amAhem.
Having just visited the site offered by Augustine, it would appear that this photo has been doctored. The cardboard is originally blank. Still…
It’s altered image on Patdollard.com may be shuttled around, and I maintain that it does not reflect well on Pat.
I will now retire to my medicine cabinet and gargle with some single-malt Scottish mouthwash. At ease.
December 20th, 2007 at 8:50 amKevin. No dude, unforunately if you try to trace it to the earliest time you can, the original one is the one in Bash’s post. Everyone, well mostly everyone’s sentiments were different when the picture was taken, which was probably ‘04-’06. The Marine probably just wanted a photo to bring back home or to show his buddies, and it got leaked onto the internet. Seriously though, You could use the blank cardboard one(It’s a template, for you guys) and have a positive message on it or something like that. It’s really up to you guys. It’s a picture that has circulated the internet 100 times over, just because it’s on this blog doesn’t mean the world is going to end. Different time in the war had us with different emotions. I mean hell, just look at all the French jokes, nowadays those aren’t acceptable because of Sarkozy (
December 20th, 2007 at 9:08 amI hate text limits. Now I forgot what else I was going to say.
Too boggled up in my head right now to work photoshop but I was thinking something along the lines of “FUCK YEAH PETRAEUS!”
December 20th, 2007 at 9:10 amMy vote goes for: “Derka Derka.”
I love the classics.
December 20th, 2007 at 9:16 amWhat would PETRAEUS say?
December 20th, 2007 at 9:45 amI think Mark Tanberg just closed this post.
December 20th, 2007 at 9:48 amI look at the photo and imagine that the indigenous subject likely knew exactly what it said.
Life is too short to go through it with one’s righteous knickers always twisted tightly in a knot…
