Can't sleep . . .

I don't know much about guns, but I like the big one my husband keeps beside the bed . . . I could shoot it if I needed to . . .

I like my Brinks alarm system a whole lot, too . . .

Lofty, I prefer my pepper spray. Not much bigger than my hand, keep it in my pocket I keep my phone in. Don't need it where I live, but I feel a little safer when I go to Center City Philadelphia. I have no reason to go to the neighborhoods where they shoot each other everyday and rarely does anything ever happen in Center City, but, hey, you never know.

My favorite is always the one that I am carrying or have at hand at the time that it needs to be put to use.

I am a wheeelgun and combat knife man generally, however, my M-4 and my .45 cal Custom seem to fulfill most tasks. But, my:

2. .357 S&W Scandium.
3. M509 12 guage Mossberg.
4. Cold Steel Ranger Combat Knife

Coupled with a reasonable stores of ammo, these would all make me feel very comfortable in any urban situation, as well as the rest of what lies inside vault.

Never forget the importance of mission oriented ammunition and proper training.

1. 81mm Mortar Can't make up my mind whether hanging it is more fun or FDC? But it is tops on my list. I once had an entire BDE of 60's and 81's at my disposal. Tim Allen always talked about "MORE POWER"...shit he ain't seen nothing....(can I get a witness?

2. M110A1E1 - 200lbs of TNT and RDX in one fine package. It's a bitch to clean. Killing radius 100 m.

3. M72 Law - POS But when you get about 60 of them to fire downrange...it's alot of fun.

4. M203. Hated the M-79. Loved the sights on the 203. Got real good with it.

5. M102 - I had more fun in AIT with this than any other weapon...with the possible exception of the .50 cal. Every day we fired hundreds of rounds downrange. Gave me a hard-on...

But i think the M-16 would be up to the top.
M-203 grenade launcher.
the new Barrett .50 cal..that thing tore a muzzie in half at 1100 yards in Afghanistan and it can be shot by a person without it being mounted. so its mobile

Addendum to my #2 above.

Scenario: Charge 7 White bag...all lockouts leaking cherry juice or are empty. You are the No 2 man. If you pull the lanyard, how are you going to not have a bad day?

Answer: Pull the lanyard, ride the breech handle back into battery. The worst that can happen is you'll be thrown backwards into the AG chair...Beats getting thrown into the spade.

Yep, really happened...

Love the many and sundry weapons mentioned here. It would have been cooler to mention only those weapons that you have actually used. The lists would be even more interesting. JMO

No favorite.

Whatever works best for the situation.

Accurate intel seems to be most important, in the past and in the present.

Personally: A durable and accurate bolt action with a quality sighting device. (there are many, no favorites other than custom made to specs)

All time Combat weapons : Crossbows, Swords (not for present combat)

I'm not as conversant on wewapons as I should be.
Heres my list:

A 5 year old boy named Anthony that can wish liberals and jihadis into a distant corn field.

Until I get my hands on an AR-15,
(I'm saving my pennys. Maybe this year)
my trusty 30-30 Winchester lever action will have to do.
Its the gun that won the west.
Maybe it'll get to do that again.
