Now that I’ve got that out of my system, it should be noted that the Germans actually had working prototypes of TV-guided bombs and night-vision sights, in addition to the famous Me-262 jet, V-1 buzzbomb, and V-2 rocket.
America, on the other hand, concentrated it’s research on the atom bomb. Having a handful of PGMs, ballistic missiles, jets, and night optics is nice, but not a war winner. One or two nukes, on the other hand, is a much more potent return on investment.
