Now I’m all for publicly executing the worst of criminals that have been sentenced to die, it’s one of the few things in Sharia Law I happen to semi-agree with.

I gotta part the path with you a bit here, bro. Part of the full effectiveness to “Capital punishment” is how horrible the imagination can craft the pictures … Remember, on 9-11-01 people said they felt as if they were watching a movie. If you expose people to something enough, that element of mental effectiveness diminishes.

I remember an old movie I watched as a young teen, “Angels With Dirty Faces”, in which two kids that hung together on the mean streets live completely different lives as adults (one becomes public enemy #1 and the other a priest) … Well the next generation of kids idolize the criminal, much to the priest’s discontent. Until, after witnessing his former friend’s execution, the priest describes to the young gang of kids how their “hero” carried on in fear until his death. I recall the “shadow on the wall” of Jimmy Cagney as he struggled in “the chair” during the execution scene … Scared the shit out of me.

Yep…could be a drill or a punctured lung. Judging by the condition of his feet, I’d also say falaca was performed on this poor soul. Only a professional sadist could have done that much damage.
