While I appreciate the opinion, I’m not as optimistic as you. Should McCain get the nomination, I’ll abstain from voting (Ugh). While I had a large frothing rant typed up, you’ve heard it all before. Me?
Fred! or none of the above. I really think we’re left with liberal “Republicans” or flat out, balls the wall communists.
January 21st, 2008 at 5:05 pmer….. Balls-to-the-wall communists..
January 21st, 2008 at 5:10 pmI didn’t see the stomach turning Packers/Giants game coming …and I was expecting stronger number’s in S.C. for Fred …but I wouldn’t count him out yet, he’s been consistent in his percentages, where other top runners have either been Hot or Cold depending on the State (if we look at overall # of votes Thompson has done very well actually, too bad that isn’t a factor). Fred Thompson’s Campaign Office in Florida is still operating, so, we’ll see? I don’t see him dropping out at this point… The rally for a strengthening of the GOP, by returning to the Goldwater/Reagan values that have become diluted is a valid issue that may be of more importance than gaining the Presidency, but where that could leave us concerning a Strong Commander in Chief while we have Troops relying on Leadership that actually Supports them is really a more pressing issue… Whatever the outcome of the GOP nominee, the Troops come first and that means stopping Hillary/Obama no matter what… Then there’s the Ronulans that believe they can just beam all the Troops up in 2 weeks and beam them back down on the boarder to fight the Alien invasion… Hmmm? I definitely won’t be voting Republican if that insanity happens!
