Spain pulling out of Iraq to appease the extremists has not worked.

Why is this not in the MSN ? In October 2001 it would be all over the place, but now people are not interested in talking about this “Republican” issue in an election year.

Spain is the number one reconquista target of the jihadis. There will be more of this activity. Spain can concede all it wants to the jihadis. Nothing short of reconquest will satisfy them. So Spain may as well re-join the fight. Sooner or later, that fight will extend into their own country. Might as well get on board and fight it now.

Spain thought capitulation would save them from terrorist acts by Al Qaeda! They were wrong. Weakness never works. Isn’t it funny that the Dems want to mimic the cowardly act of Spainish voters by pulling out of Iraq!
