Is The Bitch Done Yet? Polls And Insiders Hint At Possibility

poll

Facing a double-digit defeat in New Hampshire, a sudden collapse in national polls and an expected fund-raising drought, Senator Hillary Clinton is preparing for a tough decision: Does she get out of the race? And when?!

“She can’t take multiple double-digit losses in New Hampshire, South Carolina and Nevada,” laments one top campaign insider to the DRUDGE REPORT. “If she gets too badly embarrassed, it will really harm her. She doesn’t want the Clinton brand to be damaged with back-to-back-to-back defeats.”

Meanwhile, Democrat hopeful John Edwards has confided to senior staff that he is staying in the race because Hillary “could soon be out.”

“Her money is going to dry up,” Edwards confided, a top source said Monday morning.

Key players in Clinton’s inner circle are said to be split. James Carville is urging her to fight it out through at least February and Super Tuesday, where she has a shot at thwarting Barack Obama in a big state.

“She did not work this hard to get out after one state! All this talk is nonsense,” said one top adviser.

But others close to the former first lady now see no possible road to victory, sources claim.

Developing…

The dramatic reversal of fortunes has left the media establishment stunned and racing to keep up with fast-moving changes.

In its final poll before Iowa, CNN showed Clinton with a two-point lead over Obama. Editorial decisions were being made based on an understanding the Democratic primary race would be close, explained a network executive.

Well, Glenn Beck’s back on air this a.m. After an hour of filling-in the audience of his medical horror story he returned later in the second hour to “predict” Obama will be the next president. Beck ISN’T endorsing Obama … He was pointing out the man’s political smoke screen tactic of “hope” and “compassion” that is being swallowed pretty much whole by the people.

Where I think Beck has it very wrong is second guessing Obama’s clay feet when/if he comes up against a way much more substantive Republican candidate in the general election … and with an “educated” population that just ain’t buying this guy’s “movie script” image, and won’t allow him to step into the Oval Office … especially in a time of war.

Beck pointed out that when the general election campaign cycle is in full swing against the repub. candidate, THAT is when/where you will see/hear Obama’s machine and the MSM pulling out the race card every time Obama is challenged on anything.

    @drillanwr:

Beck’s wrong on Christianity, Beck’s wrong on Islam, and Beck is wrong anymore on just about everything else. Beck the great pretender is too busy being everyone’s buddy and CNN’s resident class clown to be taken seriously anymore IMHO.

Obama is crushing the Klintonista leg-breaking machine and is going to be a better target for Republicans than the bitch to shoot down.

Anyone who thinks that Obama is going to be the next POTUS needs to turn down their meds a tad. Or needs to stop hanging out with libs.

Please let Obama be the dem-wit candidate.
Please let Obama be the dem-wit candidate.
Please let Obama be the dem-wit candidate.
That is my prayer for today.

I will be forever grateful to Senator Obama if he makes the Clintons go away, but I don’t believe that America is so desperate for leadership that we would elect a light weight like Obama for president. Please!

    @Dan (The Infidel)

I agree about Beck’s “rose-colored glasses” views. I think he is waaay underestimating the American public on this.

Hey, at what point do we hear Hillary proclaim loudly: “His middle name is Hussein, for crize-sakes!”

Maybe when Hilda decides to break out her “dirty tricks” bag.

Or the Reupblicans get smart and just “do it”.

I’m betting that the Hildabeast beats the Reublicans to it. That would make the main scream media bring the issue to the fore and do our work for us.

Give the bitch and the loser media enough rope and they’ll hang both Osamayomomma and themselves.

Note to Pat and Bash: Testosterone update

Who’s the Ranger-up chick on the side of the page. That is one outstanding looking female!!

Yeah, I’m a chauvenist what of it?

  8. CJW

I saw a sound byte from Obama where now he sounds as though he thinks it is inevitable that he will be the next president because current polling shows him beating any Republican still in the race.

Hillary thought her nomination to be the Democrat’s choice was inevitable as well.

I can understand Glenn’s fortelling because of the media and everything you see or hear. However, I also agree with drillanwr in that he is underestimating the American public.

We do still have a lot of intelligent people that live in reality rather than a dream world.

I am also glad to see Obama will make the Clinton’s go away this time around, but I also believe he will be a more difficult opponent for us to beat. I believe this because of his Image, how well he has connected with the young vote, not to mention the natural direction the younger voters go, and because of his lack of experience we do not have as much of his past activities to point out as we would with Hillary.

I believe though in the end the American people will see we need a strong person as president and will not elect Obama president.

By the way Dan, that is Grace. You can find out a lot more if you click on her image and go to the Ranger Up page. Not only are there more pictures of her and other beautiful girls, but they have some really cool apparel.

She’ll still fight for Vice president……can’t wait to see the chic fight between her and Edwards….

    MEOW!!

  11. jam

No way she accepts second place. I hope Obama doesn’t do his jogging at Ft. Marcy Park.
