Israeli Ministers Demand Assassination Of Hezbollah Leader
J-Post:
Several ministers called for the assassination of Hizbullah leader Sheikh Hassan Nasrallah at the weekly cabinet meeting on Sunday, one day after the guerilla leader claimed to possess the body parts of IDF soldiers who fought during the Second Lebanon War.
“We shouldn’t be afraid of Nasrallah, we should eliminate him,” Internal Affairs Minister Meir Sheetrit (Kadima) said.
Before the meeting, newly appointed Minister of Religious Affairs Yitzhak Cohen said Nasrallah was a lunatic that must be eliminated.
Housing Minister Ze’ev Boim (Kadima) referred to Nasrallah as a “sewer rat” and said that he should never see the light of day.
Minister Ghaleb Majadle (Labor) insisted that “we should analyze Nasrallah’s speech and understand why he made it. Everything he does is calculated. We shouldn’t fall into his traps.”
Meanwhile, opposition member MK Zevulun Orlev (NU-NRP) said: “We always knew that Nasrallah does not have a heart. It’s about time he did not have a pulse as well.”
On Saturday Nasrallah appeared in public for the first time since September 2006, warning Israel against attacking Lebanon and claiming that Hizbullah has a near-complete body of an IDF soldier killed during the Second Lebanon War.
While the IDF has accounted for all of the bodies of the 119 soldiers killed in the Second Lebanon War, officials said it was possible that small body parts were not found during evacuations that took place from within Lebanon while under enemy fire.
In addition to the IDF’s statement, defense officials said that Nasrallah’s speech was a repeat of a speech he gave earlier this month and was an indication of the immense pressure he was under to complete a prisoner swap with Israel.
The officials said that Nasrallah was trying to apply psychological pressure on the Israeli public instead of using the regular back-channel mediators for talks with Israel regarding such a deal.
Sources in Jerusalem said Sunday morning that families of the bereaved in Israel were completely updated on the conditions of their lost relatives prior to burial, and that all fallen soldiers were buried in accordance with Jewish law.
Israel would hold no negotiations with Hizbullah over body parts, Jerusalem officials said.
Good place to start, again.

This is the most lucid and logical thought that has come from Israeli leadership in a long time
Nasrallah then Mashal then Sadr. Good things come in three’s!
