Sorry for not writing so much lately, but actually trying to follow Dr’s orders and not work. Too much.

Florida turnout is 1/3 higher than in 2000 and 2004. Most polls have now closed in the state. Said Romney today “I have the economy in my DNA”.

Jesus, I can’t believe I may have to vote for McCain in November.
Don’t rush things, they’ll still be there tomorrow.
January 29th, 2008 at 2:50 amNobody wants you to be working right now we all want you to follow Drs orders.
January 29th, 2008 at 4:57 amPat,
I think I speak for all of us when I say; no need to appologise.
For Pete-sake man, your health is the most important issue right now. I you screw up that, you’ll pay for it the rest of your life.
B.T.W. I’m still thinking ’bout that scan that was scheduled to messure if there was any “hidden” damage in your brain after you got blown up twice with IED-s.
I hope the Zyban worked, making you able to quit smoking.
You listen to me sweet man;
Dollard nation is doing okay without you although we dearly mis you. But, theres no returning ’till you’ve healed. So, keep your head down, follow doctors orders only to get back alive and kicking in the 200%-way you’re known for.
and a kiss on your painfull forehead.
Sincerly yours,
Jeanet from The Netherlands.
January 29th, 2008 at 8:46 amDitto what everyone’s said.
Whatever you do, don’t let it get in the way of your health.
January 29th, 2008 at 10:47 amJust take care of yourself Pat. This clusterf*ck of a world isnt going anywhere. There will be plenty left to do once you’re all healed
January 29th, 2008 at 12:13 pmUPDATE from Michael Yon (via Instapundit):
http://instapundit.com/
MICHAEL YON EMAILS: “Major offensive has begun in Mosul. This is likely Al Qaeda’s last real stand in Iraq. Surely they will continue to murder people for a long time, but they are running out of places to hide. Just arrived Kuwait. Should be in Iraq tomorrow and will be in the middle of it.” I look forward to the reports. - Glenn Reynolds

Sheee-it!
Had an algebra teacher in high school that was also the varsity football coach. There were some of the players in the class also (NOT algebra caliber, but due to scheduling conflicts, and mandatory math credit requirements for graduation they were there … hoping for at least a C …. Hey, did all I could for `em … but DAMN! I had an easier time in American Government class keeping one of our top basketball players GPA-eligible enough to play) Anyhow, being bored they’d act up in class … So, Coach would meander over to them and grab a handful of the hair at the back of their heads (the 1970s … long hair on guys … NO law suits) gripping it just before the roots.
He’d ask them, “One up, or two down?”
If they picked “One Up” Coach would yank the hair upwards quick and sharp, most times walking away brushing some strands from his hand.
If they picked “Two Down” Coach would yank down on the hair, snapping their head(s) back twice sharply that must’ve hurt like a son of a bitch and bastard on their neck(s).
Both “torture” tactics were always followed up by a swat to the back of the head, and both were highly effective, often resulting in some watery eyes.
(The Oblate Nuns at my Catholic grade school would have worshiped this guy … kissed his fungus infected feet …)
So, One Up or Two Down, Pat, eh?
