1:15 A.M.

Well, at least one can hope that McCain will prosecute the war on terror aggressively….except on the southern border…

2:34 A.M.

Interesting WSJ piece this morning on McCain and one of the President’s greatest powers and most important responsibilities: “conservative court watchers are questioning whether he could be trusted to fill seats on the Supreme Court.”

6:32 A.M.

See whitey jump…from Edwards to Hillary…did they cut a deal?

6:35 A.M.

So now the Dem debate in L.A. will be a straight shootout between Hillary and Obsama. At the Kodak Theater, the very place, on the very stage, they tape “American Idol”.

6:14 P.M.

Why does Ron Paul always sound like a half-hysterical woman?

6:36 P.M.

Man, did McCain seem slimey tonight..,

Hey Pat, It really pisses me off because states who don’t have to deal with this illegal immigration crap day in and day out  are voting for our presidential nominee - McCain -the lying, back-stabbing, Ted Kennedy loving, open border voting, Gitmo closing, conservative hating senator . . . . . . that is just seriously wrong. One of these days, a whole bunch of Texans are gonna go Joe Horn and just start busting ass around here - we are tired of being “left behind” by the damn Republicans in charge . . .

    Going to bed.

    @LMcG (Texas Mom)

If you’ll have me, I’d like to immigrate (legally) to your country if and when you secede.

  3. Vanessa

    I dont like McCain.

I will never vote for him.

I know where he stands on the border issue and he disgusts me.

    He is not worthy.

    Jeff

I’m with you there, buddy. Texas is big enough for the both of us.

If Gitmo closes, Lord help us.

You’re right Texas Mom, we were a country before and we can be one again. We have ports to import things. We have our own oil. Texas is the state that has the most people sign up for the military so we know we can have our own. I’ll take one pissed off Texan in my corner over a dozen hippies anyday.

    I’ll miss fall and winter…

    ticticboom

Not as much as you’d miss your freedom…

Besides, I hear they get snow sometimes… And, hey, maybe if Texas secedes, other states would follow… Like Vermont, and then we could engage them in battle.

Well, we can only hope that if McCain takes this away from the obvious other front-runner, Romney, he will buck-up and feel the pinch of maybe NOT making it in the general election against Shill or Osamba if he doesn’t start listening to the conservative masses and singing a different and stronger tune on those major issues we are concerned with.

I still believe he’d eat Osamba’s breakfast, lunch, and dinner in a general election … Osamba’s just plain stupid, and on things he knows the facts on he’s a blatant liar.

Juan McCain (Juan is what Beck is calling him this a.m.) would have a tougher time against Shill, but her lying would jump out at ya like the special effects in a 3-D movie.

I believe, if Juan ends up the GOP pick, he might be able to pull voters out of their homes to the polls if he began showing less moderate leanings and a more conservative side. We know he’s very serious about Iraq and the WOT.

McCain would also need to pick a very conservative and strong running mate. He may have already burned the Romney bridge, but Thompson or better Rudy might help him a lot in drawing in votes.

Its funny how you lament John McCain’s impending nomination when the President from your great state of Texas hasn’t done a damn thing to correct the border issue. Oh wait, he tried to get a bill passed through legislature that failed because it wouldn’t get approved by the democrats. And now you’re mad at McCain for co-authoring a bill with other Republicans and Democrats that would at least do something for the time being and it actually got passed, but I guess you’re right, nothing is better than something…
The fact that he has been calling for greater troop strengths in both wars since both wars began, something no one else has done and predates the Petraeus Surge strategy, doesn’t mean he’s a patriot or a good republican, huh? Besides the fact he was a tortured POW that passed up freedom to stay in Hanoi for 5 and a half years. But that doesn’t say anything about his character right? The fact that he is so liberal that he has been endorsed by the NRA, General Norman Schartzcopz, Joseph Lieberman and soon by Rudy Giuliani just has you all steamed up. I don’t understand some of you sometimes. Get a life.

I would rather see Romney as the new President and i actually think he might end up pulling it off in the end. I respect McCain for his service to this country but as for his stand on Immigration i couldnt be more pissed off about that if i tried. Seriously, that put the nail in the coffin. You cant be a true conservative and want open borders. Illegal immigrants are tearing this country apart and it needs to stop immediately. We need to fire up the buses and the airplanes and give Mexico their people back. then seal the border like a drum and suspend Mexicos ‘legal’ immigration for a while just for openly supporting lawbreakers

McCain-Feingold — the most brazen frontal assault on political speech since Buckley v. Valeo.

McCain-Kennedy — the most far-reaching amnesty program in American history.

McCain-Lieberman — the most onerous and intrusive attack on American industry — through reporting, regulating, and taxing authority of greenhouse gases — in American history.

McCain-Kennedy-Edwards — the biggest boon to the trial bar since the tobacco settlement, under the rubric of a patients’ bill of rights.

McCain-Reimportation of Drugs — a significant blow to pharmaceutical research and development, not to mention consumer safety.

McCain also led the Gang of 14, which prevented the Republican leadership in the Senate from mounting a rule change that would have ended the systematic use (actual and threatened) of the filibuster to prevent majority approval of judicial nominees.

McCain-ACLU — the unprecedented granting of due-process rights to unlawful enemy combatants (terrorists).

McCain has repeatedly called for the immediate closing of Guantanamo Bay and the introduction of al-Qaeda terrorists into our own prisons — despite the legal rights they would immediately gain and the burdens of managing such a dangerous population.

While McCain proudly and repeatedly points to his battles with Secretary of Defense Donald Rumsfeld, who had to rebuild the U.S. military and fight a complex war, where was McCain in the lead-up to the war — when the military was being dangerously downsized by the Clinton administration and McCain’s friend, former Secretary of Defense Bill Cohen? Where was McCain when the CIA was in desperate need of attention? Also, McCain was apparently in the dark about al-Qaeda like most of Washington, despite a decade of warnings.

Thanks to the great (conservative) one, Mark Levin for compiling the above.

  12. Vanessa

I have to agree with Kurt(the infidel)’s assesment.

I already had my mind made of about McCain but when I saw he joined up with that nut Juan-now I am angry.

America-determined to destroy itself by the people following like sheep those that are selling us piece by peice so they can make a quick buck.

Money and greed the root of all evil.

  13. Kermit

That my old friend, who served with Juan McCain as a naval aviator, told me, during the 2000 election cycle, that he could never vote for him said all that I needed to hear in perpetuity. Apparently he was slime then and still is today.

  14. will

i guess i have no choice but to vote for him, but i hear hes a racist, i noticed it a few times. especially against asians lol his captivity in vietnam maybe has something to do with it? hahaah

  15. mess

If McCain gets the nomination this may be the first presidential election I will choose not to vote in. Republican leaders take conservatives for granted and assume they will vote republican because a liberal republican is more conservative than any democrat.

I see little difference in the caliber of McCain then either Hillary or Obama. I know I will regret not voting at some point considering who’s on the left. But I believe a block of conservatives choosing to not vote due to being taken for granted might send the necessary message for the next round of elections.

  16. LMcG (Texas Mom)

mess - If McCain is the Republican candidate, I am thinking that I will just write in another name - That way, I don’t regret not voting - Those people who say if you don’t vote, you can’t bitch - Well, they can’t bitch if I write in Rush Limbaugh - I voted.

  17. LMcG (Texas Mom)

will - I wouldn’t be surprised if McCain is a racist. I think a lot of those who support open borders, do so in order to keep the cheap labor flowing over here for big profits and in my view that is nothing more than maintaining a slave class of people. I would say that is racist.

  18. Kurt(the infidel)

Pat, i hope you read this quick..Fox news just announced that Al qaeda leader Abu Al Libi has been killed. The guy is part of the main 3 in AQ. US airstrike last week
