Why am I writing my first entry at this late hour? Because after working till 3 A.M. last night, dB and I are about an hour away from finishing this episode and delivering it to Tony Scott and Showtime….

Matt Sanchez is writing an article about “Young Americans” and me for World Net Daily. I showed him the nearly-completed third episode of the series day before yesterday ( it’s now completed ) and in addition to the comment he posted about it in the comments section below, he said something in the room that was exactly what I wanted to hear. As a filmmaker, my biggest fear is boring the audience, losing them, having their mind drift, tune out, all that kind of shit. Matt made a comment that proved to me I had succeeded in achieving the opposite of everything that I just laid out. “It’s almost sensory overload”. Bingo: welcome to Ramadi.

    Congrats Pat.

    I gotta laugh, Pat …

    You’re getting like the proverbial “kid” calling home to check in with “Mom and Dad” from your buddy’s house.

    Heh-Heh! :beer:

    And one for dB :beer:

  3. jim

    No Sh*t :?: :beer:

    How many episodes did you finish already?

  5. Matt Sanchez

    I saw an entire episode, it is frightening how real it was, it gave me PTSD.

    @Matt Sanchez

    Yours is one of the blogs I visit every day. You, Dollard, and Yon keep grinding out the truth. We’ll keep spreading the word.

    I hope you guys understand how important what you are doing is … Because WE do.

    @Matt Sanchez -

    EVERYTHING drillanwr just stated & more. Guys like you and Pat are a God send. Thank you! I feel its your commitment that had changed the minds of so many in regards to OUR war in Iraq.

    Matt Sanchez, keep up the good work in getting the truth out to the American people, because as we all know, our outrageously corrupt liberal MSM ain’t gonna do anything that shows our troops in a good light if they can have their way.

    And Pat, how about a sneak preview for us man. You have no idea how bad I want to see this come out and as soon as possible for the good of the war effort!!!!!!! :beer:

    Keep rolling, sounds like the tipping point is past and your on a down hill run. :beer:

    America, fuck yeah!

    Matt,

    Let us know when your article is posted. Great work!

    LftBhndAgn and Bob USMC, et al -

    I also have to add Bill Roggio to my above mentioned list of REAL journalists and reporters in this war. And I know there are several others who deserve so much recognition, not only for their work, but for working out of their own pockets.

    THEY are why the MSM hate the blogs … Because that is where these guys work and report the truth … the good, the bad, and the ugly.

    Get er done, Pat. :beer:

    “As a filmmaker, my biggest fear is boring the audience, losing them, having their mind drift, tune out, all that kind of shit.”

    Is it even possible for you to do anything that would be remotely considered boring?!!! :lol: Not even in the realm of possibility. Pat your going to have many minds at rapt attention. (Especially those who still do not understand what our guys are going through over there. Those folks might need some sort of therapy after viewing.)

    @Matt Sanchez

    You have an excellent site. It is so cool that you got to see an episode of YA. I am glad you are writing about Pat and Young Americans. You do great work and it is because of you and so many other patriots that more and more Americans will see and understand the truth.

    Hey, Dollard!

    How about keeping that Marlboro Man pic of yourself on the “Deep Thoughts” thread(s) for awhile, huh?

    Some of us Dollard Babes look forward to those elusive glimpses of your tough mug. :beer:

    pat - show dillanwr yer hairy chest with “die” shaved into it. that even makes me a bit moist. :shock:

  16. drillanwr

    Chad -

    Why did you just remind me of the scene in “40 Year Old Virgin” where he goes home with the girl in the bar … after an unsuccessful chest hair waxing that resulted in a Jack-O-Lanturn face on his chest??!! :lol:
