The picture was made by the pro-military group Move America Forward. It was designed to demonstrate what Berkely wants to do the the military. The real issue is what can we do? We need to find out where California’s congress bitches and senetors think. And then we need to sound off like we got a pair. Tell them you won’t do business in or with CA businesses. Also, where is the Governator while this happens? Bottom line- Don’t spend a dime in Berkely (or Alameda County), San Fransico or Oakland. Then I propose a cordon and search opperation to weed out local hippies. After that, the Bay Area should be fairly empty, so I can afford to buy a freakin’ house. Who’s with me?

I forgot this nugget- When Redacted came out at the Shattick (sp?) Theater, I bought some chalk and walked to the Marine Officer Recruitment office and wrote Sepmper Fi in the biggest letters that I could on the side walk. The code pink bitches had all kinds of bullshit there, so it was good to add my two cents. I’m sure some ugly ass broad saw that the next morning after her daily enema and probably had a heart attack. As I was writting it, some aging hippie douch saw me and laughed at me. The way its now been presented to me is that the Marines just might have a case against Berkeley.
From a retired Marine I talk to:

It obstructs with the federal governments ability to “raise and support armies”

The zoning of 600 feet from residential creates undue “delay” considering the size of Berkeley. Grab a protractor, a map, and draw 600 foot circles from nearest residential areas. It’s beyond restrictive

It discriminates against business paying the same rent.”

A constitutional attorney should take up this case.

Its not about Berkeley, it’s precedent.

It’s absolutely infuriating that these miscreants would go so far out of their way to disrespect the Marines and the whole U.S. military for that matter. ALL they have to do is treat the recruiting offices the exact same way as anyone else renting office space. NO BETTER, NO WORSE. But, NOOOOO, they have to go out of their way to slng crap towards our servicemen.

I also haven’t heard of recruiters there who have disrespected anyone so this appears to be totally unjustifiable.

Quite simply, they hate the military. It’s time to level that place.

I am so glad that todays’ military men and women have the up front support of Move America, Gathering of Eagles, Pat Dollard etc. My husband and I were both in the military during the early ’60’s. You all know what we got!! It’s about time the true patriots spoke up for all our sons and daughters. Sad to say that I am part of that hippie gen. but while the code pinko idiots were doin’ their weed and protesting, my husband was in the Gulf of Tonkin. I was home pregnant with my parents with nowhere and nobody to turn to that would understand what I was going thru.
