Pentagon Pushing For A “Marshall Plan” For The Middle East

Sounds like the Pentagon is pushing for a kind of “Marshall Plan” (used post WWII as the primary plan for solidifying Europe) for combatting radical Islam in the Middle East.

Noah Shachtman has an article on it in today’s “Wired“.

    The Marshall plan only worked because we crushed Nazi Germany and Japanese militarism. Until Islamo-facism meets the same end, no Marshall Plan will succeed.
