From what I saw live, Duncan Hunter seemed to really dislike Romney because he seemed to hold him to a higher standard than McCain or Giuliani. That seemed odd to me since both McCain and Giuliani have been weak in practice as far as illegal immigration and amnesty is concerned. That is one of Duncan’s key issues and he gave McCain and Giuliani a pass on that while he seemed to single Romney out for being part of a company that helped Saddam. I have to say I respect Duncan Hunter less for his flawed analysis of the Republican candidates. If you’re going to criticize one, fairly criticize the others when, especially in this case, it would have been very simnple and obvious to do. I’m glad he’s out based on his crappy insights. He disappointed me big-time in the interview with Cavuto.

Bain Capital LLC is a Boston, Massachusetts-based private equity firm founded in 1984 by Mitt Romney, the former Governor of Massachusetts, and two other partners from the consulting firm Bain & Company: T. Coleman Andrews III and Eric Kriss. Bain Capital was originally conceived as a combined equity start-up and leveraged buyout fund, an innovative strategy at the time.
A Bain Capital deal that would give a Chinese outfit a stake in 3Com creates a ruckus on Capitol Hill,

The House resolution denouncing the deal cites 2001 Pentagon charges that Huawei laid optical communications cables for Iraq’s Saddam Hussein and more recent allegations that the Chinese military hacked into a Pentagon computer network. (Hauwei was also sued by Cisco Systems (Charts, Fortune 500) for patent-theft, a suit that the American firm recently agreed to suspend.)
January 21st, 2008 at 3:51 pmThat was a very odd interview . . . He does come across with some dislike towards Romney.
I supported Duncan Hunter, but regardless of what Duncan Hunter decides, I will never support McCain.
Whomever becomes president will still have my respect, but if McCain is our next President, I will truly have to bolt my doors because the flood across the border will be worse than ever. We would expect that from a Democrat . . . I guess if McCain is the Republican candidate, we will just have a few months advance notice to get ready for the in evitable invasion after the election.

Yeah ah, hope you keep us updated on the anarchy after McCain wins…LMAO
No doubt everyone knows how you feel…keep the faith

After reading about the deal between Bain Capital and China . . . hell yea, I’m with Hunter, I dislike Romney too. He’s a double talker, he’s plastic and changes his mind on issues as often as I change my underwear. What in the hell does it say to you when a Presidential candidate is in bed with China for Christs sake?
I too thought Hunter was a good choice as President as far as the immigration issue is concerned . . . check THIS out. It’s some scarey shit http://www.veteransjournal.net/immigration.html
I don’t know who the hell to vote for at this point, now that Hunter’s out of the race. I guess it’s back to the deep dark depths of digging up information on where the rest of the candidates stand on issues that concern me most.
January 21st, 2008 at 8:48 pmThanks Robin for pointing to that website. It has a lot of interesting information. I am with you - I have no idea who to vote for . . . I am in the process of eliminating them and the closer we get . . . the more chaotic it seems to be getting.
January 21st, 2008 at 10:36 pmLMcG - I feel like if we go by the process of elimination, we may not have any candidates left by the end of this election. It IS getting chaotic and you never know who the hell is telling the truth out there.
Did you look at the video about immigration? That video is the real reason I gave you the link. It’s some pretty sobering stuff. Now, here’s the question of the day. How in the hell do we get the asses in Washington to change the number of immigrants we allow into the country?
