Video: Hannity Asks McCain About Immigration & The Kennedy Bill
This is the big question in my mind regarding John McCain, and I’m sure it is the major obstacle keeping many Republican Conservatives from committing to McCain. Sean asked the question, McCain answered positively regarding securing the borders but I didn’t hear anything about the amnesty bit.
Dodge the question much?
January 19th, 2008 at 7:50 pmAs I have stated before - when McCain says “I will have the border state governors certify that the borders are secure” - that is McCain winking (and blinking and winking) at other politicians who are all for open border advocates . . . Texas Governor Slick Rick Perry loves the open borders and he would say they are secure today as the FedEx trucks filled with illegals whiz right past his fat head . . . lots of money being made by the crooked Republicans in Texas . . . and our next Governor who will work very well with McCain on securing open borders . . . She will be “We don’t need no louzy fence on the Texas border” Kay Bailey Hutchison - as soon as she pulls her head out of President Bush’s ass, she is coming back to run for Governor . . .
I do not believe that Americans would vote for all these open border politicians so something is being “fixed” . . . we are screwed.
January 19th, 2008 at 8:21 pmThe state of our planet??? The state of Israel???? No John the question was about border security!!!! As for the state of the planet I could really go for some of that global warming… I’m freezin’ my ass off! And when did Israel become a state? That will screw up the flag. How do you arrange 51 stars in a nice pattern? How about answering some questions about the state of the U.S. of A.??
January 19th, 2008 at 8:52 pmI don’t think there’s any real difference between the front-runners on immigration, just a difference in how they’re talking about it (I don’t believe Romney or Huckabee would do a damn thing differently than McCain, and both would probably wobble like crazy under pressure from the Dems on the issue).
I’m voting for the candidate who’d be the best Commander in Chief, and since Fred! is unfortunately essentially finished, I’m going with John McCain. He’ll stick to a plan and see it through, as he’s not wavered a bit on the war. People say he’ll “cave” to the Democrats, and I say…yeah, just like he’s done with Iraq, right? Guess not. He may have issues with which I don’t agree otherwise, but this (long overdue) war against terrorist scum trumps *all* other issues for me.
January 19th, 2008 at 11:12 pmThe border is part of the war on terror.
January 20th, 2008 at 12:04 amTX Mom~ You hit the nail on the head, sister! Ask Iggy how many AQ in Iraq are learning to speak Spanish. McCain is too liberal on social issues for my flavor.
