I don’t know whether or not I’ll vote should McCain win the Republican nod but one thing is sure, I will leave the Republican party if he goes up as our *conservative* representive.
This party no longer represents my views if he is their choice.
January 31st, 2008 at 3:57 pmIf Jose McCain is the Republican nominee, I won’t be casting a vote in the Presidential Election.
January 31st, 2008 at 5:39 pmLook, I’m certainly no fan of McCain, but at the same time staying home and NOT voting or voting for Hillary or Obama (even more ridiculous but what you will ultimately do by not voting anyway) is putting one of two die-hard Liberals in the White House.
At this point, it’s not about how much you dislike McCain, it’s about strategy. Put McCain in the White House. Either he proves himself to be the next Ronald Reagan as he claims to be or he fails miserably and then those who hate him can be justified. Either way, it’s still better than having Hillary or Obama run everything this country once stood for into the ground.
Even if you hate McCain, you have to look at the very scary reality of a Hillary or Obama White House. The America they envision, one where criminals run free and the healthcare system completely falls apart is not an America I would like to live in. Better McCain that has SOME principles right rather than Obama or Hillary basing policy on hype and not our realities.
