Since I was a little girl I had ALWAYS adored Natalie Wood (young or older, jam) …
She just had warmth, and those eyes that tore your heart out.
I was on the air at the radio station I was working at and had just flipped over to the top of the hour network news … and they led with the breaking news that she had fallen from the family boat and drowned. Was just before the release of her last movie (which sucked) “Brainstorm” … As a matter of fact, they had to complete filming without her.
