Bashage Award! Sex Offender Rapist Blown…Away
Keith Ingram of Brighton, Tennessee. This dude gets the rarely handed out, and much coveted Bashage Award…
BRIGHTON, Tenn. - Police say a man attempting to rape a girl and a woman was shot and killed after one escaped and alerted her nearby cousin.
Investigators say 44-year-old David Fleming forcibly entered the home of two sisters, ages 22 and 12, in an apparent rape attempt in Tipton County.
After being tied up, one of the girls escaped and ran to the home of her next-door neighbor and cousin, Keith Ingram.
Police say Ingram shot and killed Fleming after he attempted to attack him.
Fleming had a prior conviction for attempted rape and was a registered sex offender. Ingram had no criminal record and a valid handgun permit.
No charges have been filed.
This guy deserves the Bashage Award!
I have always thought it through in my mind what i would do in such a situation. or if someone broke into my house. Someone robbed my garage about a year ago and stole about 1500 dollars worth of power tools, my miter saw and stuff. Well i called the sheriff and he told me if I was to catch them and shoot someone i would get arrested unless they had tried to use equal force against me. I told him to forget that shit, said if i would have woke up and heard them he would have found whoever it was still laying in my driveway when he showed up.
As for this guy, he deserved what he got
February 20th, 2008 at 11:56 amI bet this will not get much mention in the news. The MSM doesnt want to show that guns save innocent lives.
February 20th, 2008 at 12:02 pmthey can’t testify in court if thier DEAD !!!!
February 20th, 2008 at 12:14 pmexcellent work
February 20th, 2008 at 12:47 pmAnother fine example of why a gun permit in the hands of a responsible adult is a good thing. Nice work. You saved two women. Doesn’t get any better than that. Send that story to the Dhimis in the IL governor’s office and the bee-yatches at MSLSD.
February 20th, 2008 at 12:55 pmOne story is more believable than two.
Excellent work, Mr. Armed Citizen!
February 20th, 2008 at 12:55 pmIf he tried to attack or not, he would still be dead, as they tell no tales…
February 20th, 2008 at 1:07 pmGood going sir-I hope it hurt.
February 20th, 2008 at 1:44 pm

February 20th, 2008 at 4:10 pmMaryland is working very hard to see that this doesn’t happen here…
Our Democrap Gov, House and Senate are hard at work making sure that no one has the right to arm and defend themselves.
Check out the wonderful legislation that is pending this year in MD:

Joe in MD.
February 20th, 2008 at 5:03 pmWell that totally sucks. Dah!
Ok. Picture this.
A man and two women look through the sex offender registry. They find someone, or it could be someone they know of or about.
One of the women invites the perv to come over for some “fun”. When the moment gets heated, she starts to scream. The guy is already present in the house and shoots him.
Now they get their story together, just like above. Absolutely NO worry about being accused of murder, as everything looks like a rape in place. Hey, ALL RSO’s reoffend, right?
In any case, even if it didn’t happen here, perhaps it can…maybe SHOULD…happen elsewhere. All it takes is a small conspiracy.
February 20th, 2008 at 5:58 pmkudos; kudos to Ingram…should receive ‘citizen of the year award’.
February 21st, 2008 at 8:15 amExcellent marksmanship Keith!
February 21st, 2008 at 5:16 pmAn old saying, relevant here, “Better to be judged by 12 than carried by six”. good job Mr Ingram.
February 25th, 2008 at 2:39 amKeith Ingram should get an award from the state!
February 25th, 2008 at 9:40 amKeith Ingram had no criminal record and a valid handgun permit.
These are the best stories! I love it when the bad guys get smoked.
No more victims for that dirtbag.
February 25th, 2008 at 5:14 pmQuestion for the libs reading this. Your wife, daughter or son gets raped by one of these animals and you walk in and find this happening. What are you going to do? Give that prick a hug and tell him that he need 2 years behind bars to think about what he has done? In the mean time, the pain, the anguish, and the hurt the entire family has to endure the rest of your life is unfathomable. Now because the prick does not know right from wrong, do you really think that this animal is not going to commit this crime again? Actually, next time, he will do it a different way, that being leave no witnesses. But it is ok, because now, this aminal is on a registered “sex offenders list”
What color is they sky in a libs world? Let me guess, PINK?

Ok. And your point is?……
recidivism, why take a chance? Boom, Boom, out go the lights.
February 26th, 2008 at 1:04 pm@steve m
My “point” is that this story was either horribly written, or that the inconsistencies in the event should warrant questions. It doesn’t matter if it was Jesus Christ or Jack the Ripper they killed, but the explanation screams out “setup!” all the way here to California.
Perhaps there are three things that need to be considered.
1. The offender was FOUND on the porch, not in the house where the attack was taking place.
2. The offender attacked two women WITHOUT a gun. There was not evidence of a weapon on his part. That part alone would throw cold water on the two-women rape theory.
3. The woman escaped one guy, then ran DOWN THE STREET at least THREE houses down (by the address assignments of the block), and came back with her friend with the gun. Why didn’t she just dial 911 and get people notified IMMEDIATELY?
My comments are valid. Your statement implying that all sex offenders should be shot regardless, however, leads me to believe you would rather use the registry as a vigilante shopping list as opposed to use it what it is designed for, which is a tool to help protect families and communities by knowledge, not by force.
