Cop Who Dumped Paraplegic Out Of Wheelchair Turns Self In
Remember this video? Cop turned herself in…
TAMPA, Fla. — A deputy who was videotaped dumping a paralyzed man out of his wheelchair onto a Tampa jailhouse floor turned herself in.
Jail records show Charlette Marshall-Jones was booked into the Orient Road Jail early Saturday morning.
It is the same jail where Marshall-Jones worked. She is accused of tipping 32-year-old Brian Sterner out of his wheelchair. A videotape of the incident has been widely circulated.
The Hillsborough County deputy was charged with one count of felony abuse of a disabled person and released after posting $3,500 bail. An attorney for Marshall-Jones listed in jail records did not immediately return a phone message.

I won’t condone this deputy’s actions, they were uncalled for!
However, I happened to watch the newsclip of the handicapped man, and if he was as rude and condescending to the deputy as he was to the reporter in the interview, dumping him out of the wheelchair would have been the least I would have done.
I have noticed this about a great many people who are handicapped that I have met. They have a constant chip on their shoulder and blame the whole world for their woes.

As far as I’m concerned, the smart-ass had it coming.
“The Hillsborough County deputy was charged with one count of felony abuse of a disabled person…”
I just learned something new today: disabled people are worth more than I am in the eyes of the law. I wonder: how does one go about applying for special victim status if one is white and male?
