5:49 A.M.
Not sure what to get my penis for Valentine’s Day. I know, I know, I have no right to whine as such a late shoppper…especially for one I love so much…
6:26 A.M.
Well, this Hezbollah response such be pretty, uh, “notable” indeed….
7:03 A.M.
Israelie FM: “Whoever did this, assassinated Mugheniyeh, took into account that Hezbollah would retaliate”
7:19 A.M.
I’m buing myself a Binelli and third Glock 20 for V-Day. Why three? You’ve never owned one then… And if someone’s got a reason not to only use Blackhawk holsters, I’d love to hear it…
7:20 A.M.
Has anyone ever gotten a flamethrower for less than 11K? Any notable trouble with one?
7:43 A.M.
E-eotch vs. Acog, any thoughts?
7:45 A.M.
Valetine’s Day tip. Don’t take your lady to a steakhouse for dinner. I’ve been warned that that’s like buying her a toolbelt as a VD gift.
9:17 A.M.
Drill- This ain’t no shit-talking. Our house has over 16,000. rounds in it. We’ve also just bought a $12,000.00 belt-fed 240 Golf, and a mount for the back of our pick-up
4:26 P.M.
Bash and I kind of fucked-up and slept in late so the posting got started late today. I’d say it’ll never happen again, but that’s total bullshit.
Meanwhile, I’m laughing at him posting like a crazed tweaker today. Good comeback, Bash.
4:27 P.M.
Hell, yes I’m at the gunshow.
And for the record, I’ve also got a FAL, 3 AK’s, a Binelli, a pistol grip Mosberg with those cool Matrix-looking shell snaps at the top, an H&Taktical with maglight, suppresor ready, and too many 1911’s to mention. I’m in need of a couple more assault rifles. Who recommends what? The FAL is my favorite, but take note futrue FAL buyers: you’ve got to get that gas setting right or prepare to take up residence in Jam City. In general I don’t like shooting anything under .45 and .762
I was bummed to hear about the problems with the Blackhawk Serpas. What I love about them is that the lack of any (foten somewhat flexible) leather squeeze allows for the cleanest, smoothest, flawlessly uninterrrupted draw I’ve ever known.
Never did the obvious dawn upon my IED-damaged brain that something could get in the way of the button and jam it…and, like they say, in a moment’s hesitation, all is lost.
9:43 P.M.
Chubby ol’ Bob Beckel” “It is now impossible for Hillary to go into the convention with enough pledged delegates to win.”
HAPPY V.D. DAY! I mean Valentine’s Day Pat! I am sure you will find something even in these late moments.
February 14th, 2008 at 6:08 amI’m sure it would appreciate some vaseline or maybe some Johnson&Johnson vitamin e intensive care hand lotion. It may seem like a lot, but dammit, every single guys penis deserves to be pampered a little bit. Besides, I’m sure that vitamin e will help soothe the rug burn from an overactive libido and no gal to share it with.
February 14th, 2008 at 6:26 amPat get it someone who believes your lies
February 14th, 2008 at 6:34 amMy lies, or my penis’ lies? Under such circumstances, I’m just a ventriloquist’s dummy…
February 14th, 2008 at 6:40 amdoes that work? If my penis could talk I would be in the San Fernando valley making demands
February 14th, 2008 at 7:26 amA ventriloquist lol i knew i wasnt the only one who did that
February 14th, 2008 at 7:59 amWhat’s wrong with taking my lady to a steakhouse for if she loves red meat? One of my buddies is also taking his girlfriend, her bff, to the same place so we can surprise them. Does this spell disaster?
February 14th, 2008 at 8:02 amI really don’t care much what you get for your penis, but I’m really curious what your penis is planning to get for you! Do you have a thoughtful penis that plans these things, or a careless one that picks up something at the store on the way home?
February 14th, 2008 at 8:15 amHappy VD, Pat!
February 14th, 2008 at 8:16 amHappy Valentines day Pat.
My husband got me the BEST present today!!!
He took a day of leave. He is stationed out of state (2 1/2 hrs away from home) and this is the FIRST valentines day we are spending together in 5 years.
Ladies: Its not the material things that matter. Its the time you get to spend with the ones you love that counts the most!

Your [private] “unit” aside …
When/if the shit hits the fan in this country I know where Command Central will be, considering the armory you’re building.
February 14th, 2008 at 8:53 amAimpoint!
February 14th, 2008 at 9:14 amMitch Rosen Holsters. Blackhawks are great and cheap.
Can’t argue with Glocks. Which one depends on hand size.
The TA31 ACOG is where it’s at. EOTechs are nice, but they’re sort of a one trick pony. they’re only useful for 60 meters and in. an ACOG can do both, though admittedly it’s a little weak in MOUT.
if you’re building an M4, with a 16′ barrel, go with an acog, if you’re gonna go for a shorty, 11′ or so, I’d grab the eotech.
If it’s a shorty, make sure you get a buffer spring designed for that, there is a difference.
Also, not a huge fan of the Blackhawk holsters. the rubber fiber things snap and break within hours, and once you wear them around, they loosen up, and start flapping around.
February 14th, 2008 at 9:24 amI hear the newest generation of stuff from them is fairly solid though.
I see where the Brit SAS now uses the 9mm with a double tap or shot at each target area. Preferably a head shot. If you have one in each hand blasting away, where’s the 3rd one?
February 14th, 2008 at 9:25 amNothing better then a Belt-Fed Weapon! OOH RAH!
Happy Shopping

As I said, I know where (Citizen) Central Command will be …
The Second Amendment … It IS a beautiful thing, baby!
BTW -
Any woman who turns her nose up at steak is just so much lame pussy.
I gave up sugar … I gave up ALL junk food(s) … I gave up ALL desserts … I gave up ALL fried foods (yes, even French Fries) … But I’ll NEVER give up the cow.
February 14th, 2008 at 10:15 amGo with the ACOG, that way you can reachout and touch someone…oh wait, you said you were going to touch…never mind, get the lotion.
February 14th, 2008 at 10:23 amThis motherfu*ker Bob Beckel on fox just said if you wont vote for Obama or Clinton then you’re just against blacks and women for President. Then called the white vote the “cracker” vote. anyone see that?
February 14th, 2008 at 11:06 amI don’t know what idiot told you not to take her to a steakhouse. I was in Ruth’s Chris the other night for my birthday and it was one of the best times I’ve ever had. Food perfect, booze great, service excellent.
February 14th, 2008 at 11:13 amKurt(the infidel)
This motherfu*ker Bob Beckel …

Partially proving one of the left’s [claims] … There ARE stupid, loudmouthed, fat white guys in this country.
February 14th, 2008 at 11:36 amPat, If you are talking about Blackhawk’s SERPA line, then I would skip it. Even though I don’t own one personally, I have heard too many horror stories about them, having to do with the finger release and getting dirt, small pebbels trapped behind the release and jamming. People have had to either compleatly diassemble the holster or even cut it up to get the firearm out. There are training academy’s that ban them outright. If your going for CC then get some nice Galco or DeSantis gunleather, if you need something more tactical, get a Safariland 6004 and call it a day.

drillanwr:
My older sister, liberal, Vermont lib-arts educated Vegan that she is (now living in Portland, OR), would take offense at your carnivorousness eating habits.
Pat:
I must say I envy you. A 240G AND 3 Glock 20s, damn nice.
I hope to get a Glock 23 someday, I like the .45ACP more than 10mm. Heh, I believe Sonny Crockett also used a 10mm in the original “Miami Vice”.
The M240 is a much better weapon than the M60s that my dad’s gunners wielded. Funny thing he told me, they were always the slowest, beefiest, most swearing grunts on patrol; but when you got into a firefight with the NVA, you loved your 60 gunners and the sound of their firing weapons.
If ammo wasn’t so expensive, I could shoot my Garand and RIA M1911A1 more often. I refuse to get a .22, despite the cheap ammo, besides I can always use friends’ plinkers when I want to. But I can get a case of 960 .30-06 through the CMP for about $250 (shipping included). Anyone know if Ted Nugent could set me up an Endowment for Acquisition of Ammunition?
Oh and other news, everyone’s favorite play is coming to Tech: “The Vagina Monologues”!

Our tax dollars at work…
Pat, go with the Eotech. You already got to see how nice it is, that is what I have on my rifle. Remember when we were doing Evac drills in the Jeep?
BTW, you gonna hit the Gunshow next weekend?
February 14th, 2008 at 2:04 pmPat,
Glocks are nice - I own some, but carry a 1911. It’s just a preference, not an idiology. The man makes the fight, not the brand name.
I like EoTech for CQB - I can keep both eyes open while I move and still see the 1 moa dot moving in front of me. Aimpoint is best for medium distance, but EoTech flip-up 3X and 4X magnifiers are interesting new options that I’m looking at.
The best investment for a civilian? A week or two at Gunsite.
February 14th, 2008 at 4:20 pmIn my opinion, Blackhawk is a great outfit, but I ditched the Serpa too. When you’re in a hurry, that release button seems to get really small.
I’m still a fan of the Tactical 870 for a shotgun. It just, you know, works every time.
I agree on .45 and .762, if you have a choice in the selection.
Check out the POF .308. Sweet.
February 14th, 2008 at 4:35 pm“VD gift” is that like a free penicillin shot certificate at the local clinic?
Buy your dick a 12-pack and a rubber band, “the stranger”. Drink the 12-pack, turn off the lights and you will be all over yourself, you hussy.
February 14th, 2008 at 5:04 pmHappy single awareness day!
February 14th, 2008 at 6:33 pmIve been spreading the word to get more support for young americans project. But as people who have been to Iraq some of the content that brings that paranoia bullshit needs to be removed. This be afraid of Europe because of muslims shit? Come on? What about all those good people we came across in country? Look at how calm iraq is now. Its practically done we just need more pussies to step up (join) un-puss themselves because a presence is still needed. Ill be damn if a 4th tour comes voluntarily. Im 3/4 way to crazy myself… Its more of like im pissed that nobody else is doing their part. Once things get rough im good, im use to living as a bum, its just about everyone else who is fucked.
February 14th, 2008 at 8:12 pmPat, the NBC nightly news finally reported success in Iraq. even labeled the story just that. Showed video of Patraeus walking around without armor and how they are letting the cars in Fallujah drive through without any checkpoints. I have to say thats pretty damn amazing. And it wasnt like a reluctant story either
