George Bush, two weeks ago: “Washington is an ugly town. Too ugly, as far as I’m concerned. Zero-sum game…I came to be a uniter, and it didn’t work.”

Help wanted.
2:02 A.M.
The biggest problem with sitting this election out is the issue of the Supreme Court. Something like four of those dudes are in their 70’s. We really can’t to afford to have ANY Supreme Court judges picked by the Left.

Anaylyst after yesterday’s primaries: “Perhaps Conservatives think Huckabee is more conservative than McCain.”

How come voting for your own race and sex, based on those two facts, used to be frowned upon by the media and the left as racism and sexism, but this election are instead being called “identity voting” and smiled upon as logical and healthy?
10:06 A.M.
Is Hillary trying to look like a canary?
10:29 A.M.
Husseing just accused McCain of flip-flopping on taxes.
10:34 A.M.
Both Hussein and Hillary campaigned furiously for today’s Maine caucus. It’ll be very interesting to see the outcome of this…
11:13 A.M.
Bush on Hussien: “I certainly don’t know what he believes in.”
11:22 A.M.
Anybody watching Chris Wallace interview Bush? Have any thoughts?
12:25 P.M.
Newsweek must be very happy.
2:36 P.M.
Hussein is leading in Maine, from the early count…

How can a man be more bitter, angry and depressed than Al Gore after losing in 2000? Watch Bill Clinton shortly…he lives for one thing…to get back into that house and play President.

The nasty NY video Bash put up two days ago just made the front page of Fox News a few minutes ago.

Yahoo has removed the new photos of Hillary crying from their server…

Guess who just won a Grammy?

It’s starting to look like curtains for Tony and Carmella.

Israeli Member of Parliament: “Israel should pick a neighborhood in Gaza and wipe it off the map.” All eyes on Israel…

“The amount of joy I’ve encountered by having strangers stay at my house, and then have them leave as friends is something I would never have imagined possible.”
Have to agree with Bush concerning Washington. Makes me wonder what our founders would think if they could see us now. They had their fair share of disagreements but I doubt they would be happy with what they would find today.
If I wasn’t in law school, (and I was a lot younger) I’d jump at the chance to join the BP. After graduation, I’ll have to settle for attacking the ACLU every chance I get.
February 10th, 2008 at 12:54 amYou still rock, GWB!
February 10th, 2008 at 12:55 amDanielle, I’m going to miss 43 also.
February 10th, 2008 at 3:19 amBush has made the Dems look like rookies for 8yrs. It’s to bad that he played their game (liberal policy) to kiss their ass. He should have made a hard right turned. Opened oil wells across the US and hand vouchers to intercity families and made the Dems fight that. The Dems would be history.
February 10th, 2008 at 6:24 amFirst post here
Not sure if you remember me, Pat, but I wrote that little blog piece about your site about 2 years ago with the Collegian (yes, THAT Collegian). Never felt the need to post on the site until now though! Judging by the majority of the posts here, it looks like I’ll fit right in!
So far starters:

February 10th, 2008 at 7:40 amIll miss President Bush. Im already dreading the day he leaves office because of all the uncertainty right now
February 10th, 2008 at 8:12 amBush is a-ok in my book.
February 10th, 2008 at 8:23 amAs far as the Help Wanted:
There is no guarantee the hired would stay in the on the southern boarder. Don’t forget how large the boarder is to the North. They can send you to ANY town on any boarder. Just keep that in mind when applying. Its a damn good job if you don’t mind relocating.

GWB successfully was able to expose the democrats and their allies in the MSM for what they really are, and what their agenda truly is.
Takes two to be “united” … Impossible when one side is holding out its hand and the other side is constantly either biting it or trying to hack it off …
February 10th, 2008 at 9:22 am@Drillanwr
First of all, excellent point. Too bad the Democruds aren’t getting blamed enough for their agenda and actions enough.
Second of all, who stole your a?

Welcome aboard!
Be forewarned … “Colorful language” IS used in Dollard Nation.
Enjoy!
February 10th, 2008 at 10:15 amThanks! Yeah, I could tell this wasn’t Sean Hannity’s domain. Nothing wrong with speaking the way we all think anyway.

This is [part] of what I said in a series of posts on yesterday’s Deep Thoughts thread (go to the link for the full text(s) https://pat-dollard.com/2008/02/february-9-2008/ ) …
If the Founding Fathers were time-warped to February 2008, took a few days to get caught up on American History ‘while they were sleeping’, and evaluated where the candidates and parties involved in this current election cycle want to take this government and this country … They, the Founding Fathers, would pull out their guns and start shooting …
February 10th, 2008 at 11:25 amWelcome Alyssa. I’m a newbie too, lol
February 10th, 2008 at 11:40 amThe AP is full of idiots. We aren’t in a recession but crap if they keep pushing this we are going to end up in one. I hate the AP
February 10th, 2008 at 1:01 pm@Drillanwr,
You asked me yesterday ’bout the title of the movie with Richard Gere I was/still am so furious about.
It’s called: The hunting party.
Calling out to Dan (The Infidel);
February 10th, 2008 at 1:17 pmWill be taking my laptop with me tommorow. NEED Dollard-Nation badly right now or I’ll be atacking the next doc that approaches me
Thanks, everybody.
February 10th, 2008 at 1:24 pm“Is Hillary trying to look like a canary”.
What??!!
She wore yellow or something like that?
Could that be the reason why she’s crying so much lately?
Oh my, I almost feel pitty for her. But I still need some chat with her hubby about those planes landing in former Yugoslavia back in 1995, filled with weapons for the local Muslims.
February 10th, 2008 at 1:31 pmPres. Geo. W. Bush, LEADER with Courage and Conviction! Thank You for close to seven years free of domestic terror acts despite being hampered by the Dems. and a few misguided Repubs.

Here is the IMDb link to the Gere movie. You are able to go on in certain places there to add comments:

As for any Hillary bird comparisons … I’d say, right about now, she’s looking like a ragged crow … about to become road-kill.

A big “Welcome” to you too …

Now, WHERE’S THE DAMN BEER EMO?!?!?!!!!???

My guess is, if they could visit us for a short time, we’d have a radically different Constitution sitting in D.C. right now.
A family friend suggested an idea that all we select our politicians at random, something similar to the way we pick juries. Your name comes up, you are President and you do not have a choice. Same goes for Congress and the Senate. In reality it would be a disaster, some jurors are beyond stupid and there are endless other reasons it would fail but it’s an interesting thought. It would at the very least, put an end to professional politicians.
February 10th, 2008 at 5:23 pmI would never suggest anyone hire on with the border patrol. Remember Ramos and Compean. You are not allowed to do your job. If you do, you can end up dead (oh, well - no biggie according to the politicians) . . . or in prison - that will teach you border patrol. You are just there for show . . .
I am in a pissed off mood tonight . . .

Wow … “couch surfing”, huh?
Meant something completely different when I was in high school … eh hemmmm ….
Texas Mom
Ramos and Compean are heroes, and martyrs to the border cause.

Things finally settled down enough for me to take a better look at your posts yesterday…all great ones btw! Funny we both essentially said the same thing, a day apart.
Pat does bring up a scary scneario, one I don’t want to think about. Those 9 judges sitting on the Supreme Court are the last line of defense our Constitution has. The whacko’s would love to roll that piece of paper up and rewrite it under a Code Pink New-World-Order theme.
I dunno, maybe we can survive 4 years under a bad President and maybe even a few more with a whacko controlled Senate but I think the game is over should we find ourselves with a whacko majority in the Court.
February 10th, 2008 at 10:56 pmJeff -
As I said … The Founding Fathers, would pull out their guns and start shooting -
As for The Supreme Court judges … Yeah, that’s THE kicker, eh? When you come down to it, it ain’t the border, or healthcare, or even taxes … It’s that one document that has set us apart from any other civilization, or nation, or society that time on this planet has ever seen. That one document … and the men and women, our military, who willingly serve this country to protect it and preserve it.
I refuse to turn either over to the two people who firmly believe BOTH need “changing” …
February 10th, 2008 at 11:36 pmI saw this on Fox today. Where has this Bush been?
If he’d put himself out there more often like this he would have helped himself and the Republican party a heck of a lot more than with him just sitting in the White House with a big fat bullseye on his chest for the spineless eunuch liberals to keep hammering him. They can’t fight, have no balls, and Bush has taken way too much shit off of those asshats. His PR dept. really, really let us all down through these 7 years. He needs to get out there and start throwing serious haymakers on these liberal assholes.
WTF, he’s not running again. If it was me, I’d REALLY give them something to hate me for. Like, oh, jusr for starters, a nice long list of TREASON and SEDITION charges for almost all the dems.

That’s a lot of frog-marching! HEH! And don’t forget the NYTimes.
I’m going down to D.C. for a long weekend the end of March … Would surely love be around to see that one … I imagine Congress will be in one of it’s “recesses” then. NOT that it would happen, anyway.
February 11th, 2008 at 12:09 am“NOT that it would happen, anyway.”
What fun it would be to see though!
