Footprints From Border Lead BP Agents To 300 Pounds Of Pot
El Paso Times:
Border Patrol agents followed footprints through the Southern New Mexico desert for more than two miles before arriving at eight bundles of marijuana that weighed about 300 pounds — the second instance in the area this week in which agents used tracking skills to discover large caches of abandoned pot.
Agents on Wednesday discovered footprints coming from the U.S.-Mexico border near Animas, N.M, south of Lordsburg. Officials said that after an extensive search, agents were unable to find the people who abandoned the marijuana.
A day earlier, the Border Patrol made a similar seizure in the San Luis Pass area, also near Lordsburg, where agents tracked smuggling suspects before finding 213 pounds of marijuana. Officials believe the smugglers hastily retreated from the bundles and fled from agents as they closed in on their location.
How ’bout that. A few more border patrols and already the war on drugs is looking better.
They’ve also caught goat molesters sneaking in with the 20 million ‘other’ illegals. What would anyone want to bet these guys weren’t looking for a better life. Ending life is their specialty.
But hey, let’s swing those gates wide open. We don’t need no stinking security and we have plenty of spare cash. Healthcare, welfare and housing to anyone who can make the trip. Oh, and lets not forget an army of ACLU lawyers at your disposal to ensure you get rights above and beyond those an American citizen BORN HERE can expect.
