Style-wise, this will be Nixon v. Kennedy all over again. Obama's "star-power" vs. McCain's stolid, sometimes painful rhetoric. McCain will have to make clear the contrast between saying "hope and change" over and over again and making specific proposals; between saying we have to give Iraq back to Al Qaeda and saying America CAN and WILL win the war against Islamic terrorism and that "talking" is just a way of appeasing an enemy that wants to kill us here. Obama is a politician running a messianic-style campaign. He makes bold promises but has NO IDEA what it will take or how he will deliver on ANY of his idealistic pledges. If elected, while he is frittering away his time on these silly idealistic ideas that somehow HE, and empty suit, is going to transform America, our enemies will be taking advantage of him at every turn and advancing their goal of subjugation or conquest of America, while he continues to "talk" to them. Maybe he is such an egomaniac that he actually believes he can convert the Islamic extremists to HIS "can't we all just get along" world view. Kumbaya Obama, I hope it doesn't hurt too bad when you walk into their hideout to talk and they cut off your head, figuratively and/or literally.
