Vid: Brother Of Slain Navy Diver On Hezbollah Puke’s Demise
I was on active duty when the marine barracks in Beirut was bombed (RIP) and pulling out of Lebanon was the only thing I can remember disagreeing with Ronald Reagan on. Different world then, however, pre-9/11.
Your brother is resting better now that the scum that murdered him is in the bottomless pits of hell.
Revenge is sweet.
May the ship named after your brother have safe passage. And may her crew be as steadfast in their service as their namesake was.
His name will be remembered forever.
God Bless the Stethem family.
February 14th, 2008 at 9:17 amI am so glad they got this guy he deserves all the pain he can get for what he did to that sailor and those Marines.Just curious-can you get a purple heart or bronze star if you are not in combat like his brother did? Just wondering.
February 14th, 2008 at 12:16 pmI love when the “family members” of victims come on and are this educated and informed not only about their loved-one and their death, but the background and continued information on the bastard(s) that were involved.
This guy gets it! G-d Bless Patrick and the rest of the Stethem family … and G-d continue to bless Israel.
February 14th, 2008 at 12:30 pmI had the high honor of meeting Patrick and his mother Patricia in 1988 while in the Navy.
I pray this helps bring closure to their lives.

The short answer is yes. He got his Bronze Star because we were technically at war with terrorists…and he was deemed a comabt casualty.
During the years prior to the gulf war I, one of our ships hit a mine that was laid either by Saddam or Iran. Techically that ship was in a combat zone. At least one crewman was awarded the Bronze Star (my cousin )
So yes, in certain circumstances it is done. Well deserved, I might add.
