I’m a pro-war Bush conservative but I can see that Obama has a good chance of defeating McCain. If he can convince me that he won’t pull out the troops precipitously and will listen to General Patreus about the course of action in Iraq than I might be able to live with a President who can actually make a speech and think on his feet. If he feels compelled to get out of Iraq immediately no matter what the circumstances or somehow shows support for the outrage happening in Beserkly at the moment than he can forget about my support.
