February 4th, 2008 at 11:13 amI like Fox News but I’m not so sure about using the term “homicide bomber.” I would think any violent bombing could be called a homicide bombing, ie Timothy McVeigh. Since a “suicide bombing” is more extraordinary, I think the term is more informative and accurate.

Words mean things. “Suicide” says that your intentions are to take your own life. ” Homicide” says that anothers life was taken for them. If these buzzards intent was to just kill themselves then they’d go out into the middle of a field somewhere, wave goodbye to the crowd and touch themselves off, end of story. They don’t do that. They go into a crowd of innocent people scream “Allah Akbar” and take out as many others as they can. That’s not suicide it’s homicide!!
I salute Fox for calling it like it is.
