Mind if I ‘drop in’ and spoil your little jihadi-fest?

February 24th, 2008 at 5:10 amDamn … Those Iraqi rats are getting pretty damn fat over there …
Are we sure we aren’t creating a whole `nother group of “insurgents” we’ll have to fight when they finally organize, wrap the towels around their little rat puke- heads, and start blowing themselves up?
February 24th, 2008 at 6:41 amI agree Trapper.
February 24th, 2008 at 7:16 amWoo-Hoo! I just love Apache vids. Any idea how far off the Apache was? Too bad we didn’t get to see the 3 other pukes getting chaingunned into protein shakes….

I thought this vid looked familiar … You had this up about a month or so ago.
Trapper and Bob P are dead on … Had they NOT had to deal with the PC “low-ball” suggestion and just gone with the hell-fire right off the bat the 3-4 haji running away would have been clustered in the cluster-fuck that became the haji-hoodies gathered “down on the corner … out in the street” …

You are kidding right? This is part of their jobs. They can not just blow away anyone that moves around suspiciously. They need to make sure they have the right target, that they can get a clean shot, the best weapon to use, and limit collateral damage. They succeded and the bad guys died.
February 24th, 2008 at 9:51 amRegarding the rules of engagement conversation taking place:
The fact they have so much, for lack of a better term, red-tape in killing the enemy, is a good sign things are going well for the coalition. When I was in Iraq they had free-fire zones and standing engagement protocol regarding people with shovels on the side of the road. There was not as much red-tape. Things were much worse and we didn’t have the luxury of a well thought out soft handed approach.
Of course, I am mostly speculating. I was a ground-pounder and these flyboys might have completely different protocol. They talk alot on these videos before acting, I have noticed.
February 24th, 2008 at 10:20 amRemote decision making is a joke. I don’t know how many of these clips I have seen with this same banter. That guy and his RPG buddies get another free shot at our boys or a soccer field full of kids. As it was, the choice of weapons was made by the forward team and not the rear command. Had they not argued the point the collateral damage would have been greater by adhering to the red tape.
