Video: The B-2 Spirit Stealth Bomber
Saw this video on Liveleak today and thought I’d throw this up here. This is one of the reasons why we own the fucking world, bitches.

I have seen these things a million times but it just never gets old. Looks so out of this world.
And talk about silent death from above
February 18th, 2008 at 1:15 pmI think we should do some Flyby’s on the Russian Navy? Little Payback!!
February 18th, 2008 at 1:18 pmJust think…this glorious piece of technology has its roots in the flying wing of the 1950’s. What’s old is new again.
February 18th, 2008 at 1:19 pmhmmmmm …
More of these in the fleet?
Or Hillary/Hussein Healthcare?
I vote for another “baby” in the fleet … Cigar anyone?
February 18th, 2008 at 1:39 pmIran wont even know they were flying over until their bunkers are being busted! By then the B-2’s are already long gone!
February 18th, 2008 at 1:51 pmThey must have had the stealth turned down; I could see it through the whole video.
February 18th, 2008 at 3:32 pmVery nice. Now we need to recruit a large batch of engineers from these pinko colleges to maintain the “edge”.
February 18th, 2008 at 4:36 pmFired up a Zino Platinum Scepter Shorty for this one Drill.
Git er’ done.

February 18th, 2008 at 6:48 pmNo you muzzie throwback, that’s a judgement day bird.
I “flew” the simulator back in the days of testing. Ya, I brought her in sideways to the flightline and crashed the bitch. The Bird in seat next to me was bitchin at me the whole time. I just told him “I’m wearing heels, what the hell do you expect”. I was on the program for 4 years in support of the test pilots for the using command. I hated the assignment, but had some good times on the team. The B-2 flew low altitude over my base house several times during night flying to the point I could count the rivets in the belly. I also had the privilege of working beside the same crew who developed the SR-71 Blackbird. Mr. Northrop who envisioned the “flying wing” during the 50’s would be damn proud. After 9/11, when I was stationed in Europe, I envisioned a package of B-2’s, B-1’s, and the backbone of the US bomber fleet, the B-52, flying a low sortie over Europe on its way to the middle fucking east to turn it into glass. Unfortunately, President Reagan wasn’t in the “daddy seat”.

Thank you. I’m a bit drunk tonight so booyah baby. I hated living in kalifornia, but the B-2 was and is a damned awesome weapons system. Got to see it fly during Air Fete at RAF Mildenhall escorted by two fighters after I left kalifornia. Made me cry. I just love the fact that FEMALE pilots are flying it today out of Whiteman.

A couple years ago a retired AF Colonel (pilot) online buddy of mine (veteran WWII, Korea, Vietnam) sent me some pictures of a female fighter pilot in Iraq who had not only completed her mission, but had flown that “ack-ack-Swiss-cheesed” bird all the way back to base … even after being told she might/should eject. The guys on the ground were stunned in awe as they wandered around the jet to survey the damage and ponder the pilot’s determination.
Was a beautiful thing!

February 19th, 2008 at 6:00 amNow you see me, now you don’t. They park them in some western state and I saw one at an air show in Niagara Falls about ten years ago. It came to the show just to do two low level fly overs and then went home. The day out in a B2.
