fu*k China! i wish i could have 5 minutes alone with each of those guys. and a ball bat
March 24th, 2008 at 4:50 pmI’m with Kurt: F*ck China. The thief must have been one bad dude since it took two guys with sticks to beat him up. Both those assholes deserve a bullet.
March 24th, 2008 at 5:50 pmHe didn’t even fight back, so he’s either an utter coward or knew he had it coming.
But the two with sticks were pussies, too. Beating someone who just curls into a ball is boring.
March 24th, 2008 at 6:13 pmYep, its kinda fucked up but I bet he wont steal anytime soon.
March 24th, 2008 at 6:54 pmThe guys handing out the ass-whipping looked to be some sort of “officials” … Sort of reminded me of a scene from that movie “The Killing Fields” when they were in Kerry’s beloved “re-education camps”.
I speak a smattering of Chinese from all the Chinese food I’ve ordered over the last 30 years …
He was begging them, “PLEASE! Send me to the American Marines in Gitmo!!”
March 24th, 2008 at 7:35 pmI think I heard one of them at the end say, “so solly”. My Chinese might be a rittle lusty.
March 25th, 2008 at 12:17 amI can’t believe this crowd is angry at the Chinese for meeting out justice properly and quickly instead of going through some many months of lawyers and trials. What makes you think he did not deserve this ass whipping. He can walk away and he is still a free man, albeit with a few sores to remind him about his bad behavior.

You should be correct …
However, what if he had stolen food or medicine for his family?
Yes, or judicial/legal system has bogged itself down in so many tedious formalities and lawyer mud … But if this kind of “punishment” were proper for a society we’ll still have town squares with stocks and pillories and the like.
While we would all, at times, like to see certain criminals (see child molesters/rapists/murderers) get such a beating to the death, this kind of “misdemeanor” method borders on anarchy … particularly if these are not Chinese officials, but town folks who took the law into their own hands.
But I digress.
